Used to clear a toilet with sludge build up, did the job, but did scratch the porcelain. Put washcloth over inside of toilet before clearing to prevent this
I practiced with this tool and found it more than I expected. Heavy duty duty is an under statement. I would have given 5 stars but I haven’t needed to use the tool for real. I’m sure it will be fine.
A snap to use. A little bulky but you have to keep in mind that there is 25ft of "cable" in there. Very simple & easy to use "in-out-neutral" lever & all the power you will need with the 20V battery. It would be even more versatile if it came with changeable tips for different types of drain "clogs" you could cut through. The cable is small & flexible enough that it makes it a little scary used in 3" or larger drains. Best used in 2" or smaller drains. Anyone interested in a used 10ft hand operated drain snake. . . . .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have other Worx tools and bought this tool due to the fact that I could use the other batteries I have in case one battery is low in power. It is a little heavy but does unclogs drains. I 'like the fact that one can automatically have the tool go forward and reverse. Its power is very good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase the worx - nitro 25 feet cordless Drain Auger and totally out preform my old corded one. What a pleasure to operate, have recommended to friends and neighbor We live in a town that the average age of homes are 100 years. Therefore your compact cordless unit is great for tight places which is common in Lambertville NJ
This auger made quick work of a 1 1/2 inch water line that was plugged with mineral deposits. A hand auger could not navigate the Deposits and two 90 degree Bends. This Worx power auger did the trick!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this a few times over the past month or so. I have to say the versatility of having a single item, with no drill needed, and no power cord needed. That in and of itself is VERY nice and convenient. And on top of that, its motor slowly pushes the plug forward (and back!). Just an amazing achievement in convenience, don't know what to say.
Only reason this isn't 5 stars is because I probably didn't operate it the right way in the last use of it. I guess you rarely, if ever, should push the 'L' or 'R' buttons to the 'R'. The instructions, clearly translated from non-English, are kind of vague or imprecise in this way. The front or back buttons for what direction the plug goes, that's fine. It's just the spinning direction of the plug (clockwise or counterclockwise). Apparently counterclockwise is bad, and should almost never be used. I wish that was demonstrated more or discussed more.
Online training videos of the proper use of this tool would be excellent!
Aside from that, I have to say it is one of my favorite Worx tools at the moment!
