I purchased my original trimmer over 5 years ago and its still running strong but to be sure to have one available I just bought another as a back up which gave me a fresh battery also. My battery's have lasted about 5 years and are down to about 15 minutes. I keep several battery's on charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using Worx products for years and have never been disappointed. If I have any criticism at all, it would be that the batteries had a bit longer run time. Worx works!

trimmer problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The head quit automatically feeding and now is next to impossible to get the cover off to add string. Otherwise, I absolutely love every WORX product I have purchased. Do I need to just trash the trimmer and get another one?

Hello there! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! It's unfortunate to hear that the WG162 String Trimmer/Edger fell below your purchase expectations.
The WG162 String Trimmer/Edger features an automatic line feed system allowing for line to be fed from the tool each time it powers on. After powering on the trimmer, if the line length is not suitable, you would allow it to fully stop before restarting it again. Repeat these steps until the line is the appropriate length.

Weak with 1/2 or thicker stems, but good on thinner ones. Easy to use, comfortable to hold,

The tools I ordered are great! They work as expected and I have no complaints. The battery life could be better especially for the leaf blower. If these ever stop working I will definitely upgrade the voltage.
