Not what I expected from Worx.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the combo because my other blower died. the blower works great, I like the 2 speeds. The trimmer, not so hot. It eats up the trimming cord real fast, and there is no bump to lenghten, I have to stop and push buttons on the spool get more trimming thread. The battery heast up real bad with the trimmer, plus it takes the better part of the day to charge back up. Then I can't register the items on line. It goes just so far and I can't enter anymore info. Not real happy with the trimmer, and I thought better of the Worx company until I had problems with the trimmer and not being able to register online.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is a pleasure to purchase an item and have it exceed you expectation. It has greatly simplified my yard and landscaping work. It is simple to use and very effective at getting the job done. That goes for both the string trimmer and blower. Excellent products at a reasonable price.

20 volt trimer/blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 18 volt weed trimer in 2013 [?] for the wife, because my gas one was to heave and loud. We lived on an acreage. 2022 bought a driveway and sidewalk w/ house attach. 18 volt trimer now is also an edger, that makes a mess, Needed a blower to clean up the mess. Now a happy camper with a 18 and 20 volt trimer/blower.

I am an 85 year old woman and I find the string trimmer so easy to use, and the fact that I can just take the battery out of one appliance and use it on another. The blower is super light compared to the old electric one I used to use. Had to get new ones because the original WORX trimmer finally quit on me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the trimmer is not a self feed and the blower is mediocre at best. The batteries do not hold a charge for very long so can't get things done in timely fashion . None of your batteries last long enough to accomplish a whole task. I had a 40 v max lithium that was ok but you no longer have that so my trimmer is obsolete. I have purchased many works products and each one seems to be less quality. I have recommended to friends in the past but no more. Even the spools for the trimmer are bad. If you get a half spool that works you are lucky. They are not wound right and therefore will not unwind so trash. I am tired of all the problems and will never recommend or purchase again.

Our 20V batteries work on a variety of tools and have average runtimes of up to 30 minutes. However, blowers use more power and when the blower is on the highest setting it will deplete the battery's power more quickly. We do recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery. Blower is decent, trimmer lacks cutting power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this set after returning a craftsman brand die to lack of support/service from them. I don't see being an issue with Worx at all, they in fact handled an issue that came up very much to my satisfaction, which is why I gave an overall rating higher than the rating for tool performance.
The Worx trimmer is disappointing. It just doesn't seem to have much cutting power. Not that the tool isn't spinning the head fast enough, the line just doesn't seem to do a very good job. The blower has a nice output and they aren't stretching the truth to say that low speed will work well for most tasks.
I don't regret this purchase but I would not buy it again.

Recent purchase. Leaf blower works well for easy work in the yard.. Not meant for layers of leaves . Trimmer works well for intended use.
