Great for Small Business Printing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use HP printers for our family business and overall I’ve been really happy with this OfficeJet Pro 9720. The biggest advantage for me is the ability to print on extra-long and larger paper sizes. I was able to print directly onto 9x12 catalog envelopes with our business logo, which I couldn’t do on my regular printer, so that alone ended up being really useful.
It handles a wide variety of paper types and sizes, but I will say there was a bit of a learning curve at first. When I switched to printing 4x6 photos/cards, the printer wouldn’t grab the smaller paper and I honestly thought I made a mistake upgrading. On my older HP printer I never had to manually slide the paper guide snug against the paper, so I didn’t realize this one required it. After a quick Google search and adjusting the guide properly, it worked perfectly and hasn’t been an issue since. Just something to know if you’re switching from a simpler printer setup.
I also use HP Instant Ink and highly recommend it if you print often. Between business printing and everyday use, it feels like the ink lasts forever and replacement cartridges just show up automatically before I even think about them.
I looked into HP’s newer AI subscription features too, but right now I personally can’t justify paying extra for them. I think more people would probably try them if HP bundled a complimentary version in with Instant Ink first so users could actually see the value.
Overall, I’m still sticking with HP printers. This one has been a solid upgrade for business use once I got familiar with the paper settings.

Quick to connect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new HP printer. It was easy to connect to my home WIFI and set it up. It was a little larger than I would have like but it has a place in my home office. The app the HP has is smart and handy to take printouts right out of my phone. The touch screen is. Wry responsive and easy to use. The ports that come out are sharp and good color. There is an area to store papers so it’s out of site. The only downside I see is that sometime when printing webpages directly it looks like it doesn’t follow the command. I have to download the page and then print which can be a pain sometimes.
Overall a good office or home printer for everyday printing .

Great wide format printer

The setup was easy and straightforward. What I love the most is that it's a wide format printer which is beneficial for my small business. I love that you can also print straight from your phone. The print quality is awesome. The touchscreen on the printer is easy to navigate through especially if you need to scan or copy.

Printing like a Pro

It has many features, as you know as your current printer gets older, it has problems that crop up. anywhere to dropping the connection to paper getting stuck. This new HP pretty much connected itself once I downloaded the APP. It even had my network password. New Pro Printer like this has a much stronger signal. It can use many types of paper and card stock. After I use it a lot more I will get to know it a lot better.

Great for a home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THe HP ALL in One printer, 2942 Printer is a fantastic choice for someone that has a home office. The printer is super easy to set-up, taking no more than 10 minutes from opening the box to printing your first page. Everything you need to started is included in the box. Inserting the ink was a snap. It is very clear hot to unsert the printer cartridge and easy to access the area to insert it.
The printer has a large capacity paper tray that can feed all different sizes of paper, and a lot of paper all at once. Once you click prin the printer begins printing, quietly and efficiently. The print quality is outstanding and is very crisp.
I love that the printer is able to connect to our network so anyone can print wirelessly and even from their smartphones. There is a companion app. I use the iOS app version. The app displays a variety of interesting information. You can tell the current ink levels, manage many of the printer options, and run printer diagnostics.
This is a great all around printer that anyone should consider when looking for a new printer.

Great for anyone looking to print larger sizes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking for a larger format printer to make posters for a while and found the HP OfficeJet Pro 9720 All-in-One Printer with many of the features that we were looking for. The printer arrived very well packaged and was easy to take out the box. The box is huge so if you're on the smaller side have someone ready to help you with the box. Its not heavy at all but the box was really large in both length and width. Once you open the box it has everything you need to get you started. The ink and plug just needed to be installed and then you can look for the printer on your network. It was really easy to set up. We went through the test print and it looked great. I have since been printing all week in both colour and black and white and both look really good. I also really appreciate that you can print in larger sizes and it comes handy for small posters. The prints themselves also come out really quickly. The scan and copy functions are also really handy. Really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it for anyone with a small home office or small business.
