Solid little home espresso machine

I grind my beans every time and usually do French press or pour over at home, and I’ve also spent plenty of time using full size espresso machines. This one looks great right out the box. It’s sleek, compact and doesn’t take up much counter space. The controls are a different story. They’re weirdly unintuitive, and even after reading the quick start guide I was still sitting there trying to figure out the secret combination and turns/buttons to get it going.
Once it’s on, though, it makes decent espresso. You’ll definitely want a grinder that can get pretty fine. It comes with a tamper, but it’s very lightweight compared with the heavy metal ones I’m used to. The machine itself is also so light that I have to hold the top with one hand while locking the portafilter into place with the other. It takes a little force, but it’s not a huge deal. It heats up quickly, runs quietly and made a perfectly respectable double shot.
The steam wand is also perfectly fine. I got enough silky smooth milk for a latte on my first try. It’s easy to clean too since the outer sheath slides right off. I do wish it came with a milk pitcher and a full size mug won’t fit underneath. For a slim little home machine it does what it needs to do and it’s a solid way to get into making espresso at home.

Cafe-style drinks at home

Its slim design looks modern and doesn’t take up too much counter space, with is a big plus in my kitchen. It’s convenient for making espresso at home whenever i want a quick coffee without going to a cafe. The 20-bar pressure sound impressive

Good for beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the appearance of this espresso maker. It is super slim so it fits right on my coffee bar and doesn’t take up too much room. The water tank on the back can hold a lot of water so you don’t have to constantly refill it. I do not have a lot of experience with making espresso, but the instructions make it super easy for you to understand how to use it. This is perfect for a beginner who is just starting out with making espresso.
