Good Cuff

This cuff fills my need for a simple strap to secure my phone when I'm using it for photos in a hostile environment, such as over water. The attachment link IS very stiff and secure. Practice with it a few times to get the motion down before attaching to your phone case, and never pull using your phone case. Four stars only because the thing is stiff enough that you must pay attention.
Pairs well with the Crossbody Multi-Strap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adam here from PD. We've found that there's a bit of a learning curve to attaching/detaching the Micro Anchors, but once customers get the technique down it becomes second nature for them. We put together a video to help folks get the hang of it: https://www.instagram.com/p/DYNQlsauAID/

Perfect phone companion

OMG!!! I love this. It’s simple, easy to use and perfect for traveling with your phone as primary camera. I use it also when I just want to make sure my phone is secure. I think I’ve already recommended it to so many people. You will not be disappointed. Exceeded all expectations.

Nice cuff slides closed around my wrist. I like the smaller profile of the micro anchor than the traditional anchor when I am not using the cuff. Peak Design, the instructions included to attach and detach are awful and make it harder to use. To detach, I found a steeper angle is needed and it is so much easier to attach if I insert the end of the micro anchor with the cord first.

Amazing phone strap!

I've been using this for 6 months and love it! I used it kayaking in Hawaii, hiking in Washington, and lots of other adventures. It is super sturdy, and gives me peace of mind that I'm not going to lose my phone overboard or over a waterfall. The mechanism to disconnect it took a bit of getting used to, but it's not that hard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't usually submit feedback but since I was almost put off buying this strap by the bad reviews I felt the need to set the record straight. As far as I can see there is no problem at all disconnecting the connector when required. Just grip the threads and pull up and out, as per the instructions. It doesn't require brute force, a secret technique or anything difficult. That said, I am very pleased with the strap; a nice little bit of kit.

Just what I was after. The micro anchor works well - clicks when in so you know it’s secure. It’s just a twist and pull of the micro anchor strap against the rest of the cuff strap to release - works a treat everytime, but you do have to do it that way otherwise it won’t release easily (that’s a plus in my book!). Good size of strap and slim build. Feels really comfortable and now I don’t worry about taking photos from high bridges or in busy locations. Great job.

Poor system with no instructions

There is no explanation anywhere as to how this product works. That is insane to me. I went through the box, the company's webpage, the instructions, etc. Nothing. I guess the small "anchors" have to be violently pulled from its resting holder. WOW. I would have thought there might be a trick, like "twist this" or something. Every time I go to pull it out I feel like I am about to break the string or the holder. I can't believe someone engineered this product, and it was released with no instructional video. This from a bay area "tech" company. You must be kidding. UNREAL.

The best phone strap available.

I bought this strap a month ago after selling my A7RV and switching to my iPhone as my only camera, I found myself dropping my phone several times when trying to get a shot from a difficult angle just because of the ergonomics of the phone. I had been a Peak Design user for many years with all my cameras, so this was the first place I looked and I found the Mobil Cuff. Like all Peak Design products, the design and execution are just the best. This is the perfect cell phone / camera accessory.
