THE MONITOR IS OUT OF THIS WORLD

I was surprised when I plugged in the monitor and loaded up Resident Evil Requiem, I had a heart attack just the visuals, blacks and overall everything is just perfect. Holy W glaze. This monitor opened my eyes quite literally in ways that I did not imagine.

Incredible gaming monitor, but know the trade-offs

I recently purchased the MSI MAG 274QP QD-OLED from Best Buy, and it has completely transformed my PC setup. The jump to an OLED panel is unbelievable. With a blazing 240Hz refresh rate and near-instant 0.03ms response time, competitive shooters feel incredibly fluid with absolutely zero ghosting. The QD-OLED colors are incredibly vibrant, and the infinite contrast makes dark scenes in games and movies look absolutely stunning.
However, there are a few minor compromises at this lower price point. This specific model is only rated as "HDR Ready," meaning it doesn’t get blindingly bright like its more expensive siblings. Additionally, if you use it in a brightly lit room with sunlight hitting the screen, the deep blacks can take on a slight purple tint. For the absolute best experience, you will definitely want to use this monitor in a dimly lit environment.
Lastly, because of the subpixel layout, text can look slightly fuzzy, so it isn't the greatest choice for heavy office work or reading spreadsheets. But if your main focus is pure gaming and consuming media, this monitor is an absolute steal. I highly recommend it for any dedicated gamer!

Great monitor from MSI, amazing BestBuy service

Purchased MSI MAG 274QP QD-OLED recently, and I am very pleased with the panel quality and ease of setup. NVIDIA RTX 3060 + this monitor gives quite a decent picture in most of the games.
Very much like the colours, smoothness and overall design of the monitor.
I haven't noticed any input lags yet (tested in CS2), maybe I got the monitor with the latest firmware.
Totally recommend if you are looking for a starter OLED gaming monitor.

This monitor looks and feels great for every application.. oled 240hz explains itself. The safety features such as panel protect are as good as, if not better than the competition. It's the best bang for buck out there in 2026
