Not so much for charging. Have tried it on several cases and iPhones and it doesn’t allow them to charge. So sad because I love my oh snaps and this was set to be my favorite.

Unusable Magsafe

I’ve had every single oh snap grip since the original kickstarter. I was extremely excited to upgrade from my lux 4 to this as it seemed the same with a better stand, but the MagSafe feature simply does not work!The magnets are significantly weaker. But the main problem is that they simply don’t align correctly on the charger. You have to perfectly place it centered and triple check it’s correct. And then never even get near it because it will move again out of center and stop charging. Note that I use my phone without a case so it should work perfectly but it doesn’t.After a month nights of it failing to charge even though I carefully placed it I’ve decided this will not work for me. The grip itself and stand are great though, that’s why it gets two stars, but assume MagSafe will not work or charge well.I’ve attached a video comparing my old lux 4 snap grip to the new snap stand. Note that my understanding is that the new snap grip 5 will also have the same issues as the snap stand. Only the old versions work well. Note that I did contact support to check if I had a defective unit (with the video) and they said this works as intended and is a change done to remove the need for the adhesive (I prefer the adhesive!).

Terrible - magnet not as strong as previous products.

I’m a big fan of ohsnap products. It’s the only product I buy for my phones. I have them for my car and for my desk and for my nightstand. I’m very disappointed with the new stand product. The magnets, not only that they’re very weak in comparison to previous versions, but they also seem to repel. Period very disappointed and returning products is also difficult so I will be looking around for other products from other companies. by the way, the stand product it doesn’t have the adhesive so I glued it to my case with crazy glue. Another failure.

Doesn't charge through stand

Stand works great but I thought it was supposed to be able to magsafe charge while it's on. Mine will start to charge for 2 seconds then disconnects. Happens on multiple magsafe chargers.

Nice, but needs more improvement. I love the support for my FOLD Z7, but I don't like that I need to remove it to charge wirelessly. This is not compatible. Only that is my complaint.

Thought it rotated on like a ratchet type system or something, but it really just slides and scrapes over the back of the phone/phone case
