I'm coming from a popsocket, and I still switch back and forth for some purposes. Namely, if I know I'm not going out for the rest of the day, I might switch back to the popsocket, because the "fidget" experience is more enjoyable for me (and it's a bit lighter).But this thing is really good - using it as a stand for reading, viewing, or even shooting video is great. That's why I bought it - I want that flexibility whenever I'm out. It delivers.I'm still getting used to the little popup holding circle. It's undeniably well engineered. It took me a while to get used to the 1-finger mode (it feels flimsy, but I don't think it really is). Now I like switching back and forth from 1 to 2. Because it's not stiff, it doesn't have a good "left open" experience (like the popsocket has). I used that on the popsocket more than I realized - and I kind of clutched the open popsocket in my hand more than I realized. You can't do that well with this grip stand.One nice thing about this stand is that it's actually lower profile than a popsocket, which is wild. That means it doesn't snag my pocket as much - again, a benefit when I'm out.I like this stand as is - but I would love it even more if they did a collab with PopSocket and put a real one in the middle of it. There are downsides to that, too ... but again, thanks to MagSafe, it's easy to switch between options.I also think there might be opportunities to improve the "fidgetability" of this stand. It's a little hard to pry open - if there were some indents along the outer rim, that would make it easier to do so AND would invite fidgeting. If there were some mechanical way to "pop" the stand open, that could be even more fun (but might add weight/size). I hope they keep iterating on it!

It broke day 1 that I got it. I really liked it up until then. When you push it down now it doesn't close all the way. Great product though if it worked right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its not made for samsung phones even if they say they have an adapter included that you can use. I currently have it on the galaxy z fold 7 which has a mate like material on the back. The phone doesn't have the magnets in the phone so you need to use the sticker adapter, the sticker on the adapter is not strong enough to stay on the phone if for any reason you attempt to remove the snap grip from the phone. The reason why I have removed the grip from the phone's back is because my phone wireles chager won't work with it on. Even with a magsafe case on the phone plus the snap grip on it won't charge.

I really like the concept of this product, however they don’t seem to charge as well as the normal grip. Maybe it’s the ring around the metal portion? But doesn’t seem to stick as well as the regular grip.

So close to being perfect

I bought three of these, and overall, I’m a bit disappointed with the magnet strength. They have a hard time staying attached to my car mount and desk MagSafe charger. Compared to the original, the magnetic hold feels about half as strong. If you decide to buy one, just be aware that it may not stay securely attached to certain surfaces or MagSafe accessories. That said, it does stick well to the phone itself. The issue is mainly with attaching to metallic surfaces and other MagSafe accessories.

ok's ok. the finger holder in the middle is too finicky and only operable after too much effort. Also the middle cap thing does not operate as advertised working as a kick stand.Also the actual outer kick stand that is sturdy is too large in diameter such that the angle the phone stands is too vertical - making the viewing angle not good. Aluminum machining quality if good but the plastic finger holder part is...just ok.

Best Snap Grip ever!

It just keeps getting better. Although you could have a stand with the simple Snap Grip, this one elevates the functionality. Love how you can easily stand your phone up at various angles. Helps when on planes or anywhere you want to set the phone away from you. Sturdy construction and strong magnets really make it something that will outlive your phone. Lastly, it gives you a loop to hang onto when taking pics on windy days or over terrain you will never recover your phone from a drop.
I would recommend this to a friend!
