The stand is well-built and has just the right amount of tension to stay in position. My only significant complaint is that the outer edge is difficult to grip. A small lip around the perimeter would make a huge difference and would make the design nearly perfect. As it is, I have to rotate the stand until part of it extends beyond my case so I can get enough purchase to open it.
I really like it. But I have issues where contact charging isn’t great, and unfolding it isn’t as easy as I’d like. For both the finger hold and the stand.
I really like this stand. The magnet seems to grip really well and it’s very thin which is why I love it most and one thing that would make it super Great is if the Stand would swivel to horizontal without you having to remove it and moving it to the horizontal position
The magent on this one, compared to my original ohsnap, is DEFECTIVE. I am caught in a cycle of trying to prove it. My phone FALLS OFF my stand in my car. The ohsnap falls OFF .... the ohsnap sticks to just about anything but does not stick to my phone. I have changed NOTHING but my ohsnap when I upgraded to the one with the stand. I have gone back to the "old" one .... You can see from the picture that it does not automatically "center" on the phone holder, it is very weakly attached ....
I had the snap grip and loved it. I always was asked about it because of how thin it was. Just upgraded to the new snap grip stand and I’m so glad I did. For those times that you want a stand it’s great. Just as thin as the snap grip.
Great accessory although there is a learning curve to fully experience the grip to its fullest potential especially from all of your promo ads visually demonstrating the features! Perhaps I’m not adept at the pop out feature... or I got one that is quasi-defective (aka hinge “pop” socket aspect is does not have an adequate raised release and additionally, disengaging back into body of the grip gets jammed). My rating is truly based on this...otherwise I love the concept and practical point of your product.
I've been seeing ads non-stop for tge Snap Grip Stand and finally gave in.First of all, the magnet is ridiculous. You put this thing anywhere near your phone and it grabs on like it's trying to save a child from falling off a cliff. There's no wobble, no "maybe it'll stay attached" nonsense. It locks on and says, "We're together now."Then there's the finger holder. I thought it would just make the phone easier to hold. Instead, it revealed something disturbing about my personality. I can't stop spinning it. I'm sitting there watching TV, spinning the phone. Waiting in line, spinning the phone. Talking to someone who's telling me an important story? Spinning the phone. Apparently, I've discovered a new nervous habit at this stage of my life. The stand itself is excellent. This is usually where products disappoint you. They claim they'll hold a position and five minutes later your phone slowly droops like it's exhausted from standing up. Not this thing. You put it where you want it and it stays there. So now I have a phone grip that actually does what it says, and a new compulsive spinning habit that I probably didn't need. Overall, highly recommended.
