High hopes fell flat.

I loved the original Ohsnap and was excited to try this new style, but it has been very disappointing. Since I have a Samsung phone, I have to use the sticky mount. Even though I carefully prepped the phone with alcohol and let it dry, the double-sided tape constantly falls off. Additionally, the magnets are much weaker than the original. My old one stuck perfectly to my fridge, but this new one falls off just from closing the fridge door. It also won't hold onto the Ohsnap wireless car charger and falls off constantly while driving. Unfortunately I can't put my old one back on because the double sided pad was ruined when I removed it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far I love this grip stand. It is exactly what I was looking fo, to not only hold my phone so I don't drop it, but it also works excellent in both portrait and landscape when watching videos. I personally have not had any issues with magsafe on my Caudabe case, it holds on tight. I can't talk to personal experience with charging, as I do not have a magsafe charger yet. My only issue, which is personal, is the amount of space for two fingers, but you could say my fingers are maybe too big, otherwise it works great and would definitely buy again.

Great (without the plastic sticker cover)

Overall a great product. But the plastic cover/sticker around the outer ring magnets got sticky and started leaving sticky residue all over. It got progressive worse with yucky circle tracks so I ended up peeling the whole plastic cover off. It took a long time to clean it up but now it works better without the sticker, in my opinion....

Honestly I was upset that it took a little longer than I expected it to to get to me. But it was worth the wait! After several other types of phone grips I have repeatedly went through that broke, were to big and broke the back glass of my phone, or were just not efficient; finally landed on the perfect one. Thank you I recommend it to anyone especially the stand version because the ability to turn sideways and elevate it off a surface like a little portable movie screen is second to none !

The stand is a great upgrade to the original. It allows seamless use for watching videos and that it’s still functions like the original chap grip is great. No notes.

I am really enjoying this product. The stand is flexible yet sturdy and the hand holds fits my hand well. I've been using ohsnap since I put in some money to help kick start their first product. It has improved each step of the way since the days of slap band style construction. The only barrier to access is the cost. Happy returning customer.

Love stand option, pop part is Eh

I wanted to love this 100%, like 5 star love it. I can't. I've used a pop socket for a long, long time and honestly, they are just so easy to slide my fingers around. This . . . this takes effort. Effort to pop it up. Like turn my phone around and look at it to see where to pull at it to get it to pull up. Effort to twist it around so that my fingers are in the right spot to hold it. Just effort. And I'm used to no effort, just slipping my fingers around any old where and holding my phone. Will I get used to it? Probably. Will I keep it? Yes, because the stand part is awesome and I definitely want to keep that. So all the stars for the stand, no stars for the pop-up part. I admit, I'm old and I don't like change. So months from now will I be used to this and love it all? Maybe. But you sent me an email now asking for a review so this is what you get.

This little grip stand has all the features I was looking for in a grip. I need it to stand up, attach to my fridge, and have a comfy hold that doesn’t take much to open for my fingers when I am mindlessly doom scrolling. I am a fan.
