This little snap on is amazing ... at first I thought it was pricey but it’s so well worth it !! I go from phone stand to magnet on the desk.. to the car all with out having to remove the back piece .

Great MagSafe grip with some room for improvement!

I love my snap grip stand! It’s a step up from the regular snap grip. Great quality and features with a thin profile!I’ve been using the regular snap grip for years and the stand part was what I was missing the most. This product has it both! The grip part is more or less the same as the regular snap grip. Same quality, same features. The stand part is beyond what I was hoping! It’s pretty stable and it works on both portrait and landscape mode which makes it great for FaceTime calls and watching videos. What I didn’t expect though is the killer feature for me. On landscape mode it can flip the other way around so that you can use it as a stand for photos! Great for when you want to take group photos or when you want to take a full photo (non-selfie) of yourself!Now, one thing that I’d like to see improved on the next version. The MagSafe side that sticks to the phone is great, sticks pretty tightly. Unfortunately, the other side doesn’t stick as well. Whenever I try to stick it to my MagSafe charger (Apple official) it can be a struggle. I have to slowly move it up/down/left/right until it hits the sweet spot where the magnets connect, otherwise they try to repel each other. Also, be aware, the orchid color looks like a light blue on the website photos but the actual product color is a light purple. All in all, it’s a great grip stand and I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a thin and durable MagSafe grip/stand!

Seems like a step backwards

I jumped on this as soon as I saw it available. Unfortunately it feels like a step backwards. The magnet does not seem as near as strong as the snap 5. I use the ohsnap car mount and my phone had no issue sticking before, now it feels very weak in comparison. I know the snap 5 doesn't advertise wireless charging while its on but I never had an issue using wireless charging with it. With this new one because the magnet is not strong it slips down on my stand and will stop charger. The build is solid and the stand works great but having to remove the grip for charging and travel seems inconvenient at best.

I got this in a whim. However it gets really hot when using it with a MagSafe charger. Is this normal. I just don’t want it to fry my car mag charger.

I’ve had the ohsnap 4 & 5. While great grips they lacked portrait mode and the 5 had weaker magnets. With this one this fixed all of the issues. It gives you portrait mode stand and gives you landscape mode that can be moved to your liking. The magnets are stronger compared to the 5 and doesn’t have that matte finish where on thr 5 it’s earlier to scratch off. Overall amazing product i’m loving this on my 17 pro max and Air!

Having used the Snap Grip 5 when I saw this for preorder I knew I had to have it. I can say after receiving it, this is a great product!! Glad to see a company that is innovative.
