I had the original ohsnap where you need to click it to create a finger loop, the ohsnap grip, ohsnap 2, 3, 4 Luxe, and most recent 5, but this SnapGrip stand takes the cake. The vertical stand was the last thing of the check list that made it perfect and they finally made it. The ring that pulls out to make it vertical feel strong and durable. For something that was preordered, it came pretty quickly! Oh the ohsnap Essential Kit with the wallet is awesome too! Had it for 3 years now!
I love the Snap Grip Stand. I've been waiting for something like this and as soon as I saw it advertised I place my order. No longer do I have to carry around a separate stand! I love the fact that that the stand supports the iPhone in both directions. Of course, it has all the same features I love from the Snap Grip I was previously using.
I like the stand. However when charging my iPhone on my charger it is inconsistent. It seems to interfere with the magnets and doesn’t hold the iPhone to the charger consistently.
I've been using Ohsnap since the beginning. Each iteration gets better, and my biggest complaint was fixed with this new Grip Stand. The only thing that would make it even better, would be a way to swing it from Vertical to Horizontal without having to take the entire Grip off and place it in the new position. Now, because it's magnetic it's not bad to take it off and move it; let's be honest I'm just being lazy. But if it could swing around somehow like the center part of the grip does, that would be super cool.
A few weeks before I got this email to preorder I was thinking, what is the OhSnap Grip missing? This was the answer. Feels great and viewable from any angle. The magnets are stronger than I expected. Plus no adhesive! Thank you OhSnap! Looking forward to your next inventions!
I love the stand and grip! My only complain is that it's not easy to open if you dont have long nails. In the next iteration, please consider some sort of groove/grip on the outer ring which can aid opening the stand.
Love the idea, fit, finish, and footprint. Overall, it is a very good design with a few flaws. It does not work well with the current ecosystem. The magnets on the back do not stick well to the car mount or the desk mount. The desk mount in particular is very loose. I would prefer adhesive with stronger magnets on the back so there is a tighter fit. I am currently using it on a Thinborne case with a Galaxy Z Fold 7. The magnets on the case are very strong, so that is not the issue with it sticking to the phone and using it as a grip/stand in that format it's great. The stand itself is awesome but when I go to stick it to my car mount or my stand on my end table it is so loose I'm nervous to use it so have to take it off because the magnets are so weak on the back end. I understand they had to make them weaker Because it doesn't have adhesive there's a trade-off otherwise the mount would pull off every time you took the phone off the a stand or something magnetic it would stick to it and release from the phone. But I would prefer an adhesive option with stronger magnets all around and this would literally be the perfect solution.
