I had an old ohsnap! and it worked beautifully! Absolutely the best pop style out there. Naturally, I fully expected this to work the same with the added benefit of a stand. I was wrong. It's fussy to get the magsafe (standard apple magsafe plug with usb cable) aligned to stick to center and falls off with a tug of the cable. I tried reaching out to the company to see if I just got a dud. I got 2 emails in response. One email to tell me that they had received my email, and another asking me if their answer was satisfactory.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This new Grip stand is an awesome improvement. Fixed the weaker magnet from the grip 5 and the versatility of the stand is really great. Same great ease of use and comfort the grip is known for

Not MagSafe compatible

Company is hiding bad reviews I left a 1 star review and has not been published here is the original:The has an extra magnet that should align it similarly to a MagSafe wallet but doesn’t. We bought 2, one for my wife and one for myself neither lines up the way it should. Keep in mind the rest of these comments come from people that have used these previous kickstand less variety for a long time; they doesn’t work with a MagSafe mount in my car, my wife has issues using with a MagSafe case, it doesn’t charge through while on my Tesla qi charger (previous did: I don’t use a case), 50% or more of the time I have to charge my phone in the morning because it didn’t charge (MagSafe Apple charger), my wife gave up and takes it off at night to charge. Again maybe all things that would be considered expected except when you pay the price these are and previous versions did all those things, it’s unacceptable. Oh also using the previous generation I had never dropped my phone and with this version I have

The BEST!!!

I’ve been eyes OhSnap grips for some time but once I saw this design I had to try it! First off, the packaging was the highest quality I’ve ever received! Very well done. I’ve had it for a week now and this grip/stand is fantastic! Even works with my QUADLOCK MAG case! The stand is very sturdy and versatile for whichever position you desire and the magnet is STRONG. Ive already been recommending it to all my friends!

I bought this and the regular grip at the same time. I can't really like either one, I covered why I don't like the regular grip in my review over there. I like the stand on this well enough. it's versatile and sturdy. However, when you aren't using the stand and need to grip it, it is not comfortable at all. I'm finding myself going back and forth between the two and finding that a bit ridiculous. Even though I'm looking for a replacement for my PopSocket because their magnet isn't very strong, I fund the functionality of it much better. I haven't decided yet, but this one might be returned as well as I don't think it is worth the price (even as discounted).

The snap grip was great... with the stand is game changer. And the thought and intentionality put behind the products is genuinely next level. All form, all function, and they mean it.

Great grip

For folding phones this stand is a must have. It's securely propped in pretty much any angle. With a case on a zfold 7 the grip is the perfect thickness to keep the phone from rocking. The outer magnet seems improved from old versions because it doesn't seem to be staying behind when I remove my phone from a metal object. I think you should develop a hinge for the grip thats made out of metal because it does tend to bounce around while using it. That is the one area where pop sockets seem to excel in
