I would recommend this to a friend!

I can Breathe clearly again!

Breaks my wifi—router can’t exclude wifi channels

Works great as an air purifier yet manages to break our wifi if on
First support denied this, then said it was a known issue and to avoid wifi channels 161-165. There is no way to change this
We use a router we can’t manage (google nest wifi) and google says there is no way to change the channels. Wifi 6 seems to avoid the issue but upgrading 3 wifi devices would be expensive
It’s a wonderful air purifier ruined by poor shielding
As much as I like it as an air purifier it will probably be returned
Please design better next time

We also regret your disappointment with the support experience and appreciate the detailed information you have provided.
The Shark NeverChange Air Purifier is designed to operate on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. If the purifier is not positioned correctly, it may cause disruptions to nearby wireless devices. To help minimize interference, please ensure the air purifier is positioned more than 3 metres away from your Wi-Fi router and connected devices, and oriented at least 30 degrees away from them. If interference continues after confirming the placement of the unit, adjusting the Wi-Fi channel may help. Where possible, we recommend avoiding 5.8 GHz channels 161 and 165.
If you require further assistance, please try the troubleshooting steps for "Why is my Air Purifier is causing disruptions with my wifi?" using the link below. Once completed, if unsuccessful, a webform will be generated and will request that you fill out the relevant information, after which our support team will review further:

Great air purifier! I was dreading it, but I finally got the notification that the pre filter needed to be cleaned and it wasn’t even that hard. This has really helped with my allergies from allowing my cat in my bedroom. I went from weekly asthma attacks to not even remembering when my last one was. Definitely could’ve gotten the smaller one, but I might still get it and move this out to the main area.
