Great for pet hair

I bought this a week ago. The main thing I was interested in was the LED light to detect any dust/pet hair. This vacuum has been awesome at picking up everything and every single strand of fur from my dog. Definitely recommend if you have pets.

Love my new Vacuum

My Shark PowerDetect Speed™ arrived just a couple days ago, and I have already used it twice. I am obsessed with vacuuming my apartment with it and I love its many features it is upgraded with. I highly recommend this to my friends and family, and to anybody who is looking for a high technology vacuum system.

I've only had it for a little over a week. Now I really like it. I like the simplicity of not having to empty it. Every time I use it, it's heavier than the one I had before. But it's not too heavy. All in all, I've given her 5 right now. And if anything changes, I will let you know.

I bought this in Sagewood color and absolutely love the the looks of it! While I keep it out in a room that we do not use often, with the color option, it blends into my decor. I've had it for about a week and have already had compliments on it. I enjoy the base station keeping it charged and also emptying the canister after each use. For me, I feel starting off with an empty canister and seeing the debris you are picking up in the moment is satisfying , yet also sometimes surprising to see how much you are picking up! I have a 2,000 sqft home and so far I've not ran out of a charge. I brush setting changes instantly when going from solid floor to carpet. I also enjoy the light that turns on while on hard floors to assist in seeing shadows of debris (this works best in lower light settings). The suction is great, maneuverability is amazing, and tools are perfect for cleaning furniture, your car, window seals, baseboards and so on... I really like how you can pop the brush roller and use the accessories with the long stick, or take the stick off and attach them directly the main unit to shorten it. Also, it's light weight making is it easy to move and hold over your head if reaching high areas.

I love this product. It is so lightweight to take upstairs. It detects dirt that I wouldn't have seen with a regular vacuum. The maneuverability between wood floors and carpet is great. I ran it for an hour straight and had no problem.

My husband purchased this for me as a gift about 6 months ago to upgrade our current Shark Cordless Vacuum. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. However the pickup is extremely poor. It requires several swipes over an area and when you lift it to return to home base it dumps trash on the floor from the vacuum. We constantly need to clean carpet debris from the neck of the vacuum. I would not purchase another of this style of vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
