Incredible picture quality and size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a five-year old LG OLED in my primary home and have had no problems with it, still has great picture quality, so I decided to stay with LG when the time came to purchase a TV for our vacation home. The 77” C5 has the right combo of picture quality, price, and features.

Amazing TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV was extremely easy to set up and looks beautiful in our remodeled living room. Colors pop and the blacks are impactful. Initially tested sound without sound bar and it was very good, although for our living room a sound bar was necessary.

Good viewing experience improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the LG C5 OLED for a bit now, and honestly it’s just a really good TV. It pretty much delivers what you’d expect from an LG OLED.
Picture quality:
The picture is the main reason to buy it. Blacks are actually black, contrast looks great, and colors pop without looking fake. HDR content looks especially nice, and even really dark scenes still have good detail instead of turning into a gray blur.

Gaming:
For gaming, it’s been excellent. HDMI 2.1, low input lag, VRR — all the important stuff is here. On Xbox, everything feels smooth and responsive, and fast games don’t get blurry.

Design:
The TV itself looks clean and modern with super thin bezels. It looks high-end. It’s also super thin and I guess I need to be careful to not break it accidentally.

5 stars for screen performance. 4 stars for software and interface. Screen is fantastic especially the contrast and virtually perfect blacks. Software and interface are a little clunky.

Worth money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality goes beyond my expectations! high quality picture, smart tivi, slim/thin not heavy at all, easy to setup with the remote, sound is also a plus with deep stereo sound. It is Oled technology so hopefully it won’t burn too much energy. Will update that later.

Terrible interface

We just bought the TV. Physical installation wasn't bad. But the interface is extremely confusing. I never got the mobile app to work. With difficulty, I downloaded the app for Spectrum (our cable). It doesn't appear on the main screen and is hard to find. We don't use any of the apps on the main screen (Disney, HBO, etc.) We like to stream PBS (Passport) and found out that it is not available on LGs. That weird floating cursor won't go away. CC is hard to access. If we ever find a channel to watch, the picture is fine. All of my complaints are about how difficult it is to use. The AI seems useless. Why are there all those ads for movies or streaming services in the way?

Congrats on your new OLED55C5PUA TV, the WebOS interface can take some getting used to and the floating cursor comes from the Magic Remote’s motion sensor, which you could use the arrow keys to navigate instead. Your Closed Captions can be turned on/off quickly by pressing the settings gear button on the remote, then scrolling down to “Accessibility.” We'd love to lend a helping hand if needed, be sure to reach us @LGUSSupport.
