Terrible interface

We just bought the TV. Physical installation wasn't bad. But the interface is extremely confusing. I never got the mobile app to work. With difficulty, I downloaded the app for Spectrum (our cable). It doesn't appear on the main screen and is hard to find. We don't use any of the apps on the main screen (Disney, HBO, etc.) We like to stream PBS (Passport) and found out that it is not available on LGs. That weird floating cursor won't go away. CC is hard to access. If we ever find a channel to watch, the picture is fine. All of my complaints are about how difficult it is to use. The AI seems useless. Why are there all those ads for movies or streaming services in the way?

Congrats on your new OLED55C5PUA TV, the WebOS interface can take some getting used to and the floating cursor comes from the Magic Remote’s motion sensor, which you could use the arrow keys to navigate instead. Your Closed Captions can be turned on/off quickly by pressing the settings gear button on the remote, then scrolling down to “Accessibility.” We'd love to lend a helping hand if needed, be sure to reach us @LGUSSupport. Stunning Picture & Next-Level Performance

The picture quality is nothing short of spectacular - deep, inky blacks and vibrant colors make movies and shows feel incredibly cinematic. HDR content especially looks amazing, with highlights that stand out without ever looking overblown. The TV is also impressively thin and sleek. Even at 77 inches, it has a very modern, minimalist design that looks great on the wall and instantly elevates the room. The viewing angles are fantastic too, so everything looks consistent no matter where you’re sitting. The webOS interface is smooth and intuitive, and navigating apps or switching inputs is quick and hassle-free. The included Magic Remote makes navigation feel natural and easy. Overall, the LG C5 77" delivers outstanding performance across the board. It’s a premium TV that’s worth every penny if you want the best possible picture quality, excellent gaming features, and a beautiful design. Highly recommended!

Great upgrade from C2

The picture quality for C5 completely stunning and all additional features including faster processor, better sound definitely make it worth the upgrade and quite affordable as prices started to go down. We could not be happier. Highly recommend this TV.
