Great picture quality and interface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture quality and immersive viewing experience at a 12' viewing distance. Well packed (It's a giant box), easy enough to get mounted up on the wall, and very thin.
I was pleasantly surprised by the built in webos interface for how responsive and intuitive it is to navigate with the magic remote.
So far we haven't felt the need to install an external media viewer, and are going to stick with the built in app.
I like the customizable picture settings with being able to tune in sharpening, upscaling, gamma, color temp etc. The brightness is more than sufficient for my fairly dark living room, and I even turned down the max brightness a little given our environment. If you're in a dark room, you really don't need the brighter models.
I didn't expect much form the built-in speakers, so I paired it with an old soundbar with the intention of upgrading it later.

Great upgrade on an already great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.

LG C5 OLED DOESNT DISAPPOINT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the LG C5 77-inch after owning the previous LG C9 OLED, and this one keeps the streak alive. The C5 is the upgrade I have been looking for.
The picture quality is exactly what you buy an OLED for — deep blacks, insane contrast, and colors that actually look natural instead of blown out. Brightness has noticeably improved compared to older models, especially in HDR, so it handles daylight rooms better than past OLEDs I’ve owned.
The motion handling is smooth, gaming performance is top-tier (low input lag, full HDMI 2.1 support), and the OS is fast without the annoying lag you get from some other brands.
Build quality is premium, setup was simple, and so far I’ve had zero issues — same as all my previous LG OLEDs. They’ve always been reliable for me, and this TV keeps that trend going.
If you’re on the fence, just get it. The C5 is the kind of upgrade you immediately notice and don’t regret.

LG OLED C5 77

Great TV ever

The C5 uses LG’s latest OLED evo panel with a subtle brightness bump over last year’s C3. While it’s not as bright as the G4’s MLA panel, the C5 still performs extremely well for HDR movies and dark-room viewing.

This is where OLEDs dominate. The 77-inch C5 delivers:
Truly infinite contrast
Perfect black levels
Zero blooming around bright objects
Night scenes in films look incredibly cinematic with rich shadows and amazing depth.

Out of the box, color accuracy is excellent. Dolby Vision content looks especially stunning. Skin tones are natural, and high-brightness highlights pop without clipping.
