Hi, Joseph. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV! That 83" G5 is a show‑stopper, and it’s awesome to hear the picture quality and sleek design are elevating your whole room. Sounds like it’s delivering that true “big‑screen experience” for movies, shows, and sports — exactly what it was built for. Glad the included stand made setup smooth, too. This is our 3rd LG OLED and it is absolutely gorgeous. We have a 9 year old curved that works amazingly but the new G5 is absurdly bright and its bold colors make it a notch above the rest and an easy choice to make. It is used primarily as a gaming monitor and it does not disappoint. Highly recommended.

The most amazing beautiful picture I have ever seen. Watching sports is such a joy. There are so many apps to choose from wow. LG is the best TV on the market period!

Hello. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV. It’s fantastic to hear how much you’re enjoying the beautiful picture quality, the sports‑watching experience, and the wide range of apps available — that kind of excitement is exactly what we hope our TVs bring to your home. Your enthusiasm truly shines through, and we appreciate you calling it the best on the market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 83” G5 is a stunning TV and easily one of the best displays I’ve owned. The picture quality is phenomenal—deep blacks, excellent contrast, and a clean, vibrant image that looks fantastic no matter what I’m watching. Everything feels quick and responsive, and after a couple of weeks of daily use, the performance has been consistently excellent. From a pure viewing standpoint, this TV absolutely delivers.
Where it falls short is in the gallery experience, which was a major reason I chose this model. During my research, I reviewed what appeared to be the gallery functionality for this TV, but after purchase I realized much of that content reflected the previous version of LG’s Gallery rather than the current Gallery Plus. The current implementation is more limited and seems to remove support for truly static images and other features that previously existed. I haven’t found a way to restore the older version, which was disappointing.
Customization options could also be improved. More control over gallery behavior and system settings would better match the premium nature of the TV and elevate the overall experience.
Overall, the LG 83” G5 offers incredible picture quality and strong performance, and I’m very happy with it as a TV. With improvements to the gallery software and deeper customization options, it could easily be a five-star product.

Hi, Adam. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV. It’s awesome to hear how much the 83" G5 has impressed you — deep blacks, vibrant color, and that smooth, responsive performance are exactly what this series is designed to deliver, and it’s great knowing it’s hitting the mark for you on the viewing side. Your insight on the Gallery experience is equally valuable. The way you described comparing the previous Gallery features to the current Gallery Plus really highlights how important customization and static‑image options are for a TV that doubles as décor. Feedback like yours helps shine a light on where the software experience can evolve to better match the premium hardware. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a beautiful LG G4 OLED, but the G5 is even better! Stunning contrast, color, and brightness, its picture is exquisite and striking. No other TV tech can compete with OLED for picture quality and deep immersion, and LG remains at the very peak of OLED quality and features. A couple stumbles in the G5's original firmware have all been seamlessly corrected, and the G5 provides a higher fidelity and better Dolby Vision viewing experience than any other brand or TV. Get an OLED, get the G5, and never look back.

Hello. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV! Your excitement shines through, and it’s fantastic to hear how the G5 has elevated your experience even beyond your G4. That combination of contrast, color, brightness, and Dolby Vision performance is exactly what makes OLED so immersive, and we’re thrilled it’s delivering that level of impact for you. I was genuinely excited for the LG G5 65-inch — on paper, it checks every box. Unfortunately, I still can’t comment on picture quality, brightness, motion handling, or gaming performance.
The reason is simple: the “out-of-box experience” hasn’t progressed past the box. Without a functioning setup, the core strengths of the TV remain purely theoretical.
For a premium product at this price point, the inability to even reach a first-use experience is extremely disappointing. I hope future buyers have a smoother path from purchase to actually seeing the screen turn on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this as an upgrade to my 77" 2019 LG OLED C9 - and wow - this TV has shown how much OLEDs have improved over the past 6 years.
Brightness - this in HDR is out of this world, the contrast between the black and the display is incredible. And having been using an LG OLED for a while, I'm used to the excellent contrast
Movies - the Dolby Vision capabilities along with HDR have been excellent, re-watching some of the IMAX movies I've seen have been super enjoyable
Sports - watching some Thursday night football from Amazon in 4k - chef's kiss - we could see every blade of grass on the field and the motion was super fluid, there is no comparison
Gaming - having proper VRR and 120hz gaming is so nice, the PS5 shines on this gaming experience
Overall this has been a wonderful upgrade into the current generation of OLEDs and I will continue to use LG OLEDs (I have 3 now!) as my primary TVs for movie, sports, and gaming

Hi, Erik. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV. Your upgrade story is such a joy to read — going from the C9 to the latest OLED and feeling that leap in brightness, HDR, and overall performance is exactly the kind of experience we love hearing about. The way you described movies, sports, and gaming all shining in their own ways really shows you’re getting the full power of what OLED can do. And owning three LG OLEDs? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv looks great, but based on the price I think the picture of the B5 or C5 is nearly as good. If you absolutely need the "top end" tv, then get the G5. Otherwise, save money and get the other models
