The sound is horrible
on October 28, 2026
Posted by: Davana
The only thing I don’t like about this tv is the sound. It’s too low sometimes and too loud other times. This is my first experience with lg products and I’m just not impressed. The first tv I had to get a refund because the screen went out in less than three years and this one I just got the sound is messed up.

It’s Big!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hung this 98-inch LG on our living room wall a few weeks ago. First night, my wife and I put on a movie and it honestly felt like we had our own theater. I didn’t expect it to look this good from the kitchen too, but it does.
I game on it a lot. The 144Hz refresh rate makes a big difference. Fast stuff stays smooth, no tearing, and I can actually see things on the edges of the screen I used to miss on my old TV. Shooters and racing games feel way better.
We watch a lot of football on weekends and the players look almost life size. Now everybody wants to come over on game day lol. Favorite part is just the size. We hang out in the living room way more now. People walk in and stop and stare at it every time.
Only thing to know: measure your wall first. This thing is huge. But if you have the room, go big. I don’t regret it at all.

Buy it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit, I was a little nervous about buying a 98-inch TV! It's massive, but LG made setup easier than expected with built-in handles on the back. The metal feet are also incredibly sturdy and provide a solid, stable feel. The screen is everything you'd hope for and more! Despite its size, the slim profile gives it a sleek, modern look. It's currently in our bedroom, but I can't wait to move it into our movie room once it's finished. We've been using Vivid mode, and the brightness and vibrant colors look amazing, even with the lights on. What impressed me most are the AI picture and sound features, which enhance lower-quality videos, making older shows and online clips look and sound much better. If you have the space and want a true big-screen experience, this TV delivers!

The Perfect Home Theater Set Up
on October 18, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this TV to turn our upstairs bonus room into a home theater and are very pleased with our purchase. The TV was super easy to get set up and logged into the all of the smart apps. The picture quality is crystal clear making family movie night feel like we're actually at the theater without leaving our home. We cannot wait to start watching more movies up here as a family and would recommend this to anyone in the market for a TV. Great family Tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this LG 98-inch UHD TV because we wanted a bigger screen that I could easily see from the kitchen while cooking and something our whole family could enjoy together. Our previous TV was 75 inches, so the upgrade has made a big difference in our living room. The large screen makes watching movies, shows, and sports together more enjoyable. My husband especially loves the gaming features, including 4K UHD resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Game Optimizer. These features are designed to provide smoother gameplay and a more responsive gaming experience. We love having a TV that works for family movie nights while also offering features for gaming. Overall, we are happy with our decision to upgrade to a bigger screen that everyone in our family can enjoy.

The best purchase I’ve ever made!
on October 6, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are absolutely obsessed with this TV. The size alone is incredible, but the picture quality is what really sold us. Everything looks so clear, bright, and detailed, and watching movies and shows on such a huge screen feels like having a theater right in our living room. The colors look beautiful and the picture has been consistently impressive. We also love how easy it is to use and how convenient it is having smart apps built right in. I honestly wasn’t sure if we would really need a screen this big, but now I don’t know how we would go back to anything smaller. It has completely changed our movie nights and has quickly become one of our favorite things in the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is perfect for our space. The 98" size fills the wall beautifully without feeling like too much. The picture quality is incredible: colors pop, everything is crisp, and video games look amazing on it. The sound is great too, so movie nights are going to be amazing.
It's so sleek and slim, which made it a breeze to mount. I had no issues with setup at all, and the installation was free, which was a huge bonus. No complaints whatsoever. I'm so happy with this TV it’s so impressive.

Go big or go home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started with the 55 inch LG and loved it, but once I set it up in my living room, I realized it was too small for the space. So I decided to go bigger and came back with the 98 inch instead.
The first time I turned it on, I was amazed. The picture is incredibly sharp and the colors are so vivid, it genuinely feels like I'm inside the movie instead of just watching it. Even older shows and lower quality content look so much cleaner now.
As a gamer its awesome! Everything feels smooth and responsive, no lag, just clean gameplay. And when I want a true theater feel, I turn on Filmmaker Mode and it feels like I'm watching exactly what the director intended.
I also love that I'm not stuck searching for things to watch. It seems to know what I'm in the mood for, and with hundreds of free channels and thousands of movies and shows built in, I never run out of options.
I never need to go to a theater again.
