Great, Even for Non-Streamers

As someone who doesn't stream, I thought this would have been one of the drunken orders I'd regret. However, after tweaking it to my needs, I love using the StreamDeck daily! It saves me a ton of time with every day keybinds or shortcuts in programs I use (such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom). The ability for third-party extensions makes it even more useful to do things such as control VoiceMeeter and Spotify! Only thing I wish it had was a screensaver mode, where you can display animations while not in use (it does go full black, but i'd prefer a GIF of my choice)

Amazing workflow and streamlining capabilities!

I bought my Stream Deck roughly a year ago, mainly to make things easier while streaming. The main thing I was looking for was the ability to set various keys to switch to various scenes, as well as some buttons for other various stream related tasks (switching chat to emote-only mode, leaving a stream marker for cutting my VODs down later, etc.). It achieves that perfectly, without fail.
Beyond streaming, I have also found uses for it with my video editing! I've been able to set certain hotkeys on my Stream Deck to perform certain actions in my editing software, such as changing a video clips color for organization, bringing me to a specific window, and so on.
Another use I found for my SD (thanks to the community made extensions) was monitoring all of the necessary PC stats and numbers that I like keeping an eye on! I have keys that display CPU Usage, RAM Usage, GPU Memory Usage, and all the other important numbers.
The Stream Deck is an all around useful tool that's nearly impossible to not get proper use out of, whether it be streaming, editing, or nearly anything else you can do on a PC. It's made what I do easier in more ways than what I initially purchased it for. It's a must have.

Great even if you don’t stream much

I bought this...basically because i fancied a new gadget, and honestly advertising definitely works on me, I’ve seen loads of people that have them, and I thought sure why not. I figured it would be a fun distraction.

However, even as somebody that streams to almost exclusively zero people, this is still amazing. It covers so many handy little functions, and what I thought might be a gimmick, is genuinely being used non stop while I’m at my PC. Its also made the small amount of streaming I do, far higher quality and easier.

Amongst many other things, I even set up some copy/paste text macros for working from home that were productivity lifesavers during lockdown.

Plugins are excellent too. I haven’t found something I imagine I want to do with it yet, that somebody hasn’t made a plug-in already to do so.
It rules. Get one.

Necessary Content Creator Item!

The stream deck makes my life as a content creator 10x easier with all of the features it comes with. The size of it is perfect, the versatility of it is amazing and having the countless ways of customizing it makes me feel like I'm truly in control of what is happening with my streams.
I use mine for the purpose of streaming, recording, room lighting control and key light control and I'm just scratching the surface with what I can do with this item.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I absolutely hate the fact I love this product

If you're like me, you probably think the Stream Deck is an overengineered device that could be easily replicated by a numpad (or a custom bespoke macropad with your preference of switch). Unfortunately, I would have to tell you that I've become a believer after taking the plunge and using a Stream Deck.
First and foremost, the fact that you don't have to deal with awkward macros and/or custom keybinds is real handy -- ie: you don't have to start finding f13-f20 keys or thinking of random key combinations to use.
Second, the amount of support that the Stream Deck has from the community is mindboggling. As something with a bit of processing power behind it, there is a wide array of 3rd party "plugins" which can really let you use the Stream Deck for just about anything you want. It's hard to describe the feeling with just words, but it's definitely a "you love it when a plan comes together" kind of moment.
Lastly, the fact that the buttons aren't on mechanical switches and rather just a membrane isn't the end of the world and you still have a tactile push which is great. What also makes up for the lack of a "click" is the ability to show a button's state which is super handy if you're running a production and want to visibly see if something is hot.
God, I hate that I like this thing so much.
