I returned mine. While the design is nice the noise is not. I think fellow travelers might want to throw you out of the plane, train or automobile if you decided to use this while sitting next to them. Yes, it does cool but not useful unless you are by yourself.

The airflow was impressive, but the air was noticeably hotter than the surrounding temperature, and the noise level was high enough to disturb anyone nearby. It was heavier than I expected in comparison to my other handheld fans. After giving it a trial run at an outdoor concert, I decided to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went to visit my son in NY a few months ago and he had one of these fans. I knew immediately that I needed one, too. So, I bought it and couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. It’s very powerful, it’s quite simple to use and the charge lasts a lot. Not to mention how silent it is. Good price, excellent product, reliable brand, cute color ( I got the pink one, since the others are sold out ). Very happy with it.
