The auto-shutoff feature frequently does
on February 24, 2026

The auto-shutoff feature frequently does not work. The earbuds will turn on by themselves in the case in my pocket and drain the battery, so the actual practical battery life is much, much lower than advertised. They fall out of my ears all the time, even if I've simply been standing in the same place for a long period of time. There are too many commands accessed by various button clicks to remember. In the plus side, they were cheap and they do sound nice, but the negatives outweigh the positives.

Great! I had my old Skull candy dime 2's for a few years. And when they finally met their fateful end these dime 3's stepped up and haven't faltered since!

I’ve had skull candy products
on March 16, 2026

I’ve had skull candy products for years that I’ve loved but once I went to wireless ear buds it seems it went to the trash. Got these Dimes as a replacement for a pair of smokin’ buds that wouldn’t charge on one side. Skullcandy wouldn’t replace the smokin’ buds outright so they gave me a credit that didn’t even cover the cost of these! So I paid more to have a WORSE pair of earbuds! Why worse? These buds will NOT stay in your ears, no matter what size bud sock you use. I even switched the socks with multiple other companies to try and find something that would hold, but nothing. The buds also don’t stay consistent sound - move your head even slightly and the sound locks off bc the ear socks suction weird. I thought it was only a problem while running, but they kept both falling out and not holding consistent sound in normal use, especially if singing or talking on the phone. I’m giving a 2 star only because Skullcandy’s sound quality is good (but only when it actually stays). Incredibly disappointed and annoyed by this product.

It has taken me a bit of time learning how to properly insert them so they don't fall out but once I did, the sound was everything I had hoped for.

They fit perfectly and the bass is incredible. Only complaint is that when you open your mouth to eat the sound cuts out a bit, might just be me though.

It's probably a good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's probably a good product to others, but it's literally not compatible with my ears. My ears need something flat instead of the rounded shape that goes inside the ear. Glad this had a button though.
