So worth upgrading

Obsessed! I replaced my black box air fryer with this and it’s life changing! So easy to use and clean, cooks better than my old air fryer, and I love being able to see my food cook!

Needed to be larger to roast a chicken.

I bought this for two primary reasons. 1) Non toxic - glass and stainless. 2) To roast a whole chicken.
I was a little concerned when I bought this that it may be too powerful at 1800 watts but I really have been trying to move everything to non toxic and no plastics so I thought it was worth a shot.
The problem is the 5 lb chicken resulted in the breast and leg tips of the chicken to be in direct contact with the heating element. I couldn't imagine how I would get an even roasting with a nice brown crust since the heat would be in direct contact and interfere with the circulation as well.
I didn't. It burned terribly and the cooking was uneven. I'm sure it would work well for other air fryer functions but my purpose was to roast a chicken. I like being able to do this on my patio rather than smell up the house and this would have been ideal had the 6 qt been closer to 8 or 10 qts in size.

I am going to look for a circulating glass oven that uses heating elements and not infrared. I've used infrared and it burns in spots. That's another reason this oven might have been ideal had it been larger. It has a coil heating unit. (Note: I did start the chicken with backside up and rotated after about 30 minutes. The burn would have been worse if it had stayed on one side- like cooking only the breast side.

Good features

Bought recently and have used twice. My main issue is it being hard to accommodate glass container in place. I noticed the part that clicks in place (underneath the container) already has a mild crack which eventually will fall off and I guess this is not replaceable. What will Ninja do about this? Will I be able to continue using it when it beaks, don't know. I did not use excessive force to put in just think it should be easier.

Great.....unless you have dogs

PROS: cooks great, easy to clean, small footprint on counter.
CONS: beeps so loud and obnoxious it terrifies my dog who associates the sound with danger (its very similar to a smoke detector beep). Why this is made like this is beyond me. I have other cooking appliances that have normal beeps (sound level and tone) and do not bother my dog at all. This is a very unfortunate flaw for what should be an absolutely great product. There is no way to silence or change the beep that occurs when cooking starts and stops. If you need to toss or flip food, you get the same loud obnoxious beep.

Underwhelming

I wanted to love this machine but after multiple attempts, I am unsatisfied. While it’s beautiful to look at, and I love being able to see the food while it cooks, this machine repeatedly kept not working and after replacing parts multiple times finally gave up on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes cooking a pleasure

I had the 4in1 Crispi and upgraded to this larger size. This product takes the ease of cooking to another level. Air fried food comes out crispy. Reheating food makes it as good or better than the first time it was cooked . Pork chops and steaks are very juicy. The best part is the clean up that is so easy. I have recommended this product to all of my family and friends.

Best air fryer ever!

I owned an air fryer years ago and ended up giving it away. Decided to buy this one and couldn’t be happier! I love that you can see the food, clean up is very easy. I saw some reviews that stated it was hard to get in and out, the first time I used it I didn’t have the support bar in there which did make it difficult, now that it is in it goes in and out super easy. Food definitely comes out better than using an oven. I love all the different options!
