Weight is right - handles - not a delight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weights are great, they weigh what they state. I've weighed them to double check. Putting them back in the bases can be a little tricky sometimes but not a deal breaker. The biggest complaint I have about these weights is the handles. Instead of actual knurling, they have bumps, little metal bumps. That means if you're pushing heavy, those are digging into your skin, while the other parts of the handle are extremely smooth - aka slick. The handles are also oddly shaped, which combined, do not make them ideal. Would be great if they had the same handle like the 552 series. So overall they get the job done, however the handles could be way, way, way better.
Cons: Uncomfortable
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Strengthens

A lot better than I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently turned my garage into a gym and didn't want to fill it with a huge dumbell rack with over 15 sets of dumbells so I went with these for a much faster and clearer look. Couldn't be happier with the decision. Quick and efficient and well built. We will see if they hold up but they are backed by the warranty so all in all, a good purchase.
Cons: Heavy / Bulky
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens

Love These: Versatile and Space‑Saving 1090s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Bowflex SelectTech 1090 dumbbells. They're super versatile, letting me go from light to heavy (10-90 lb) quickly with the dial system, and they save a ton of space compared with a full dumbbell rack. The size is a bit bulkier than regular dumbbells, but the convenience and range of weights in one compact setup make them totally worth it.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens

Excellent Adjustable Dumbbells for a Home Gym
on March 10, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Bowflex SelectTech 52 dumbbells for my home workouts and they have been fantastic. What I love most is how fast and easy the weight adjustment is. The dial system lets you change resistance in seconds, making it perfect for workouts where you move between exercises or increase weight gradually. They are also great space savers. Instead of needing an entire rack of dumbbells, these compact weights sit neatly in their tray and keep my workout area organized. For anyone building a home gym, this is a huge advantage. The grip feels comfortable and secure, and the small 2.5-lb increments at lower weights allow for precise progress as you get stronger. Overall, the Bowflex 52s are versatile, easy to use, and perfect for home strength training. Whether you're a beginner or someone looking to simplify your gym setup, these dumbbells offer great value and functionality. Highly recommended!
