My new Frigidaire upright refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer three years ago and I’ve had absolutely no issues and no problems. I loved it. Hence, this is why I purchased the freezer/refrigerator converter as my new upright refrigerator. I keep it at a cool 35°. It works wonderfully! We have a second refrigerator in our home that is full-size, pretty much larger than the 2-in-1 in the kitchen so, we never run out of refrigerator space.

Love the freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the temperature controls on the outside of the door, it’s nice to not have to open the door to set the thermostat. I would like to suggest that the exterior display also include a display of the actual temperature inside so that you don’t have to have a purchase a freezer thermometer and open the door to check the temperature. That would be awesome! Other than that, freezer is great.

Reliable, Spacious, and Perfect for Basement Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the 18 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Upright Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator (FFUE1836AV). I’m currently using it in my basement, and it handles the environment well—no issues with temperature fluctuations, even in a less climate-controlled area.
One of the standout features is the garage-ready performance. It maintains a consistent temperature without constantly running, which gives me confidence storing both frozen and refrigerated items. The EvenTemp cooling system really seems to do its job—everything inside stays evenly chilled, with no noticeable warm spots.
I also appreciate the convertible function. Being able to switch between freezer and refrigerator mode is incredibly useful depending on seasonal needs or extra storage demands. It’s basically two appliances in one.
The Cool Boost feature is a nice bonus when adding a lot of new items—it helps bring the temperature back down quickly. The door ajar and high temp alarms add peace of mind, especially in a garage setting where you might not notice right away if something’s wrong.
Inside, the flexible organization system is simple but effective. The shelves and bins give enough versatility to store everything from small containers to bulkier items. From the photos, you can see it holds a good mix of items while still feeling spacious and uncluttered. The door storage is particularly handy for smaller or frequently used items.
Design-wise, the stainless steel exterior looks clean and modern, even in a utility space like a basement or garage.
If I had to nitpick, it’s pretty minimal in terms of interior extras—no fancy drawers or premium shelving—but it makes up for that with capacity and reliability.

Excellent Freezer for Bulk Storage and Visibility

Awesome upgrade for my garage freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this freezer for my garage to replace an older non defrosting freezer. It has been a wonderful upgrade. So much space and strong glass shelves. I have all our meat on the top 2 shelves and they hold it easily without fear they will break. I love the shelving and drawers to organize our food. The drawers were a real bonus and perfect for my frozen veggies. It’s easy to adjust the temp in the outside and see alerts that the door is ajar. The freezer seals well and is easy to open close with indented handle on side of door. I really like the clean look without a handle on front of door. The stainless has been very resistant to fingerprints as well. Quiet and energy efficient. Im very happy with my purchase and have no complaints.

Great addition with lots of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look and space that this Frigidaire upright freezer FFUE1836AV in stainless steel contains.
It has four shelves that are spaced out evenly so you can stack boxes or lidded tubs easily on top of one another. The shelves are deep enough that you can put a lot of groceries/frozen food in there.
The door has four bins that give easy access to items such as ice blocks or frozen Popsicles for the kids.
It also has two pull out bins on the bottom, which are fairly deep, but not too long. They pull out easily and are easy to access. Perfect for bas of frozen vegetables or fruit.

I love that I can see everything that is in there because it is well lit from the one light at the top. I do worry that if I fill it up, it might be a little dark towards the bottom of the freezer. So far that hasn’t been a problem and with so much space I can’t see that being a major problem.
The door opens easily, but once you close it, it can take a little while to be able to reopen it as it seals really firmly. It would have been good if we could have changed the direction of the door opening, to open from right to left rather than left to right, but that’s not a big deal to us.
Apparently, this is convertible to a fridge. We have not explored this option yet, but could see that this might be a great feature around the holidays for fresh food.
I like that the controls are on the front and easy to use/self-explanatory. This is frost free and it says that the stainless steel is fingerprint resistant, but we have seen a few fingerprint marks on the front.
This is a great addition to our household, and I will get a lot of use out of this. I much prefer it to our old freezer which was a pullout drawer at the bottom of our fridge and was not so easy to access all the items in there.

An Amazing Convertible Freezer Refrigerator

As an individual with a larger household composition, it helps a lot to have space in the freezer.The freezer is frost free. This means there is no time consuming monthly chore of defrosting and clearing huge pieces of ice. It also has a large display on front to display the current freezer temperature. The alarm is really helpful by alerting you when the freezer temperature rises. What makes this item a gem to own is it can be used as a freezer or refrigerator with the touch of a button.

In Love!

I love that I can flip on the Cold Boost when I'm unloading groceries and everything gets cold fast. The shelving is flexible enough that I can actually keep things organized, which as a new mom is everything.
