[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this fridge for the interior freezer capacity. Our appliance person let us know to let it stand for at least 24 hrs before plugging in if it was tilted on delivery. It was necessary to tilt it quite a lot to get it into the area. We left it for 2 days before plug in, This advice was spot on. The freezer works well, and evenly. The noise of the compressor is audible but not overly. We had read othe reviews
We purchased this model for a few reasons, mainly the size of the freezer in relation to the overall size of the fridge. We like Frigidaire in general and have many of their products. Our appliance person encouraged us the wait more than 24 hrs for plug in if it was tilted on install. It was tilted quite a lot to get it into the spot. We let it sit more than 2 days before plugging it in. Since then it has worked well, Even freezing and it holds temperature well. The compressor is audible but not overly loud. We had read many reviews before our choice and we are glad we followed the advice of the appliance person.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is perfect for our basement. Just enough freezer space because we didn't add the optional icemaker and the main compartment is perfect for all those extra drinks and leftovers. I agree with others that a butter holder and egg holder would have been nice, but really not needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this fridge through the BC Hydro Energy Efficiency program and it is a really great, functional replacement fridge. I like that the shelves are easy to move and the deli drawer can be set in different positions. Also love the separate temperature controls on the individual crisper boxes. Lots of door storage. Freezer is big and easy to control the temperature. It was a little difficult to level the fridge. The anti-tip feet on the front do not screw down all the way to the floor, so I ended up having to wedge something under the front left foot. But, other than that I’m really happy with this fridge :)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying my refrigerator. It is cool like it should and the ice maker is wonderful. It is steady on making ice and the freezer gets cold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new appliances that I purchased for my new home. The only thing I am having problems with is keeping smudges away. Photos are too large to add.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a 42 year old Inglis, top freezer model, that had finally stopped cooling. So, after considering the various upscale refrigerator models that turn your head with fancy detail, we decided to stay with this basic, tried & true design. I must say that we miss having ice cube storage and/or door mounted compartments for eggs, butter, cheese, etc. but this fridge is reasonably quiet and is working as it should so we are content with our choice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed and impressed how much storage space gained from this model with a slightly less depth level when compared to my last Frigidaire Gallery fridge. The storage spaces by the door are also expanded to accommodate more jars and bottles. Love the wheels on the bottom drawers, making it a breeze to pull them out. The temperature adjustment buttons are self explanatory and easy to make changes when needed. This fridge is also perfect for a clean and smooth look for a white kitchen as no handles are sticking out. If I really have to pick on a couple things, it's the missing light in the freezer and the once in awhile roaring noise when it's working hard.
