Why only a one year warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At least this is a major brand, so likely to be repairable during year 3-5 when the compressor might fail. The size is convenient and the ability to be convertible from freezer to refrigerator is the key feature that lead me to choose this. Price is good. But between the short warranty and the low price, I feel certain that I will have this unit repaired from a complete failure in the first 5 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holding temperature well. Good storage layout with 4 shelves a drawer and shelves on the door. With rollers on the rear, it moves every time we opened the door and the rear height isn't adjustable. Floor isn't level so if I level the front there, one of the rear rollers is off the floor (or freezer rocks back and forth). Would have liked a reversible door in general although opening left to right is perfect for me.

Optimum Performance and Capability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a difference from my old freezer! I’ve gone from scraping ice out of my old freezer in the dark with no way to see my food and not enough room to store all our frozen goods. We never knew if it was keeping our food frozen as it had no alarms telling me we had a problem. Not to mention it lasted one month longer than the warranty expiration date and spoiled all our food. We have had our new Frigidaire Freezer for a couple of weeks now and what a high difference. We have all the room we need and then some and we can see has it has a big bright light at the top of the freezer. It has plenty of shelves, a drawer and it has keep everything nice and cold. The best part is that they have a digital readout on the outside of the door where I can see what the inside temperature is as well as audio alarms that go off if the temperature drops or the door is left open. All that and is frost free! You can’t beat that! Great job Frigidaire … we love our knew freezer!!!
