Poorly designed snack shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the refrigerator except the poorly designed snack drawer. I had to remove the snack drawer because if you put a few things in it the drawer falls down on top of the shelf under it. I did report this to the number listed in my owners booklet and a service man was sent out.
The service man looked over the situation and he was unable to resolve it. It seems to be a design flaw and if I had known about this problem I would not have bought this refrigerator.

POOR DESIGN

THE SNACK DRAW CONTINUOUSLY FALLS OFF ITS GUIDES. THE DRAW IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH TO STAY IN THE TRACKS. I HAD TO PUT SHIMS BETWEEN THE FRIGE WALL AND THE GUIDESTHE DRAW GUIDES SO IT WONT FALL OUT. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS CAN BE,,

great cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The airflow, cooling, crisping, ice production, and temperature are all fine. The only reason that I did not give it a 5 is that it is a bit noisy. I believe it is the ice maker feature that is noisy, not the fridge motor itself,

Great product that is long lasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought our first Maytag refrigerator in 1976. Including this one We have only owned 4 in the last 50 years! Maytag has consistently been our appliance of choice for that reason. None of those refrigerators were replaced because they had broken down but rather because a larger appliance was needed. Two of the three continued in service as a second fridge in the garage. The third was still working but no longer needed when it was removed. Maytag has always been a great product. The new fridge is exceptional in keeping the correct temperature thru-out it and the freezer with a ton of ice cubes always available It's easy to set and adjust and like its predecessors will give us many years of service. Thank you
