First of all, it does make a difference when a robot vacuum has a mopping function. Previously I had various small robovacs, and it's just not the same. With Dyson the floors are so clean I can walk walk barefoot, even with a cat shedding like crazy. There are many things I appreciate about this robot. It's relatively quite, it cleans well, and I like reusable waste bin. It mapped the house on the first try. When it shoots the green laser beam you can see how dirty the floor is even when you think it's tidy. The first clean took 5.5 hours across 900 sq ft of tiles, hardwood and carpet. It was very thorough. However the more often it cleans the shorter amount of time it needs. Now it's done in just under 2 h in vacuum and mope mode.
The main reason why I bought this though was the respect to privacy. From what I was able to check it's the only robo vac on the market that does not store your data in the cloud (beyond things like the house map and cleaning schedule), and all the pictures processing happens within the robovac.
There a few concerns though. Once installed the water bins cannot be opened to allow them to dry. When left unattended the dirty water can stink big time. I think it's the same issue across all robovacs but something to be aware of. You cannot keep dirty water inside the bin for a long time. Preferably it's emptied and dried after each clean.
Another set of concerns is related to how the robo vac functions, which hopefully something that can be fixed in the future releases.
If the robo vac gets stuck, and the battery dies, and then you put back to the charging station, it has no memory of what it was just doing. It's starts to recharge, marks cleaning as complete and doesn't dry the wet roller. You have to manually start drying the wet roller. And the cleaning would have to be restarted from scratch. It cannot continue from where it left.
Another issue is how it manages cleaning multiple floors. It can map multiple floors, and it can recognize its position on any floor. However to start the cleaning it needs to wash the wet roller first. I don't know why it's needed if it's washed after every clean anyway. So the process of cleaning another floor is - 0) make sure that washing is set to once after every clean otherwise robovac will attempt to do it every 15 mins, 1) set the maps to another floor, 2) ignore the notification that main floor schedule will not be run until the maps are switched back, 3) start the cleaning, 4) wait until robovac done washing the wet roller, 5) pause the cleaning, 6) bring robovac to another floor, 7) unpause the cleaning, 8) bring robovac back to the charging station when it's done, 9) switch the maps back to the main floor. It's such a hassle and I don't understand why. If robovac can recognize where it is on any of the mapped floors, why do I have to do all of this map switching and waiting? I hope it will get fixed because the only workaround is to bring the charging station to another floor which I'm not doing because it's very very heavy.
Overall I think it's the best robovac on the market in terms of how well it cleans and how it manages your data. Hopefully the app issues will get fixed soon. For this price it should be perfect.

Absolutely Robust! Versatile and Effective!

I have been using Dyson products for years and was intrigued to try their wet and dry robot vacuum. I take pride in keeping my home clean and vacuuming and mopping is a part of my daily routine. The convenience of Wet and Dry functions worked out perfect for my household. I would recommend taking your time to understand how it works using the My Dyson app. The set up is easy and it comes with clear instructions. I love how Effortlessly it takes care of the spills and the stain detect technology takes care of all stains effectively. I appreciate that it cleans repeatedly until the mess is taken care of. The battery lasts pretty long (almost 200 minutes). It cleans every corner and helps me design my personalised cleaning needs. My perfect cleaning partner for a spotless home I take pride in! This is the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the future! I can’t believe the technology, ease of use and how clean it keeps my floors with very little effort on my part.
Set-up: first of all, set up was SUPER easy! I downloaded the Dyson app which walks you through a quick set-up and directions on how to use it (total process took 10 minutes) to start mapping my house, connect to wifi and quickly initiate the first clean.
Cleaning: I was able to set up automatic cleaning sessions custom to the room based on vacuum + washing levels. I activated one cleaning session remotely while I was at the beach and came home to perfectly clean floors! The machine detects what is carpet and what is hard wood floors (I have an even mix of both). It will vacuum in the front component and follow with the mopping roller, leaving minimal water behind. It also self-dires the mopping roller which I found really cool! I was able to map my upstairs and manually place it upstairs without the dock. The device and dock itself is large but I found a perfect spot in my laundry closet so it’s tucked away. Gifted by Dyson for testing purposes and I couldn’t be happier. Absolutely life changing!

Such a huge helper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this was was very easy to set up, I just downloaded the app and it mapped my house really quick! I changed how the rooms were labeled a bit and now I can tell it to clean any room or area. It is very good at vacuuming and mopping, which is rare to see in any robot I’ve owned and I’ve owned a few. Usually it is good at one or the other. But this one seems pretty efficient. The only thing it does is leaves a small amount of water behind, but that dries quickly. I like how the roller can move back and forth to get hard to reach areas. Definitely able to reach more than our previous robot. Our kids leave a lot of crumbs and spills and this vac really helps our house stay clean. It’s been a huge help around the house and it feels so much better to wake up every morning to a nice clean floor. Gifted by Dyson for my honest review.

A true game-changer for busy homes

Living in a house with a small child means the floors somehow get messy all the time, and keeping everything clean used to take so much effort. This Dyson robot feels like a dream come true. What I love most is how completely automated and effortless it is. Once everything is set up, it basically takes care of itself. I don’t have to constantly think about vacuuming anymore - it just does the job while I’m doing other things, spending time with my child, or simply relaxing. The Dyson app is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Setting schedules, checking cleaning progress, and controlling the robot from my phone takes only a few taps. Everything is designed in a very clear and user-friendly way, which I really appreciate. Another thing I noticed is how thorough and consistent the cleaning is. Finally, there’s someone smart in our house

Even though I was joking in the title, this vacuum cleaner really is very smart, and thanks to it, my dream of waking up to a clean and tidy floor has finally come true! I have two sons, one a teenager and the other a toddler, and no matter how much I clean during the day, the floor is always covered in crumbs by the evening. I also have a cat that constantly sheds hair. And since I put the younger one to bed early, there’s no way for me to clean in the evening.
With Dyson, the rules of the game have changed! Now I go to put the baby to bed, and in the meantime my robot vacuums and mops the floors, so our house is always clean. It’s very quiet and doesn’t interfere with sleep at all. The only caveat is that the base needs to be located far from the bedroom because it cleans itself quite loudly.
Another thing I really appreciate is the maneuverability. The robot moves around the house very smoothly, easily navigating around furniture, corners, and other obstacles without getting stuck. It reaches different areas of the floor effortlessly, which makes the cleaning even more effective.
The filtration system is also impressive. It does a great job of trapping dust, pet hair, and fine particles, which helps keep the air in the house feeling cleaner and fresher—something I especially appreciate with a cat and kids.
I also like how ergonomic and well-designed the whole system is. Everything from the app controls to the containers and water tank feels very thoughtfully designed and easy to handle. It’s simple to empty, refill, and maintain without any hassle.
It’s very easy to use and very intuitive. Thanks to the app on your phone, you can program it to suit your needs, from choosing the rooms you want to clean to setting the time you want it to run. It’s also very easy to maintain—the containers are simple to clean and refill, and you can use a special floor cleaning solution.

This is a big boy, comes with 1 filter for vacuumed, 1 reservoir for dirty water & a clean water reservoir. Plug it in, charge it up, set up the app & watch it go to work!
