I like the XL for the fact that I get more pages. That's important to me as I do genealogy & use a lot of paper and ink and when I am running out of ink I can order today & it will definitely be here tomorrrow! Thanks HP.

The HP 61XL Black Ink Cartridge is the best performing and long lasting black ink, which I have ever purchased, and the next day delivery at no extra charge can not be beat.

I ordered the HP 61XLprinter cartridge. I received the cartridge in excellent condition as advertised in the time frame assured. In past years I have tried customer filled cartridges and "reconditioned" cartridges none of which were satisfactory. I decided to try brand name replacement. As of now I will only use HP brand cartridges. HP brand is just too good to waste time and money on any other.

Very weak print

The ink in this cartridge is very dull and the resulting print is very weak -- it seems like the ink is diluted, not full strength.

Within a few days, the cartridge stopped working. The error message on my printer said 'defective black cartridge'. in subsequent days while I waited for a replacement to be delivered from another vendor, it worked sporadically, but never longer than part of a day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
