Hi,
I think the printer doesn't realize a new cartridge is inserted. I want to apologize for these circumstances. Check to see the printer cartridge is firmly inserted in the holder. If so, you should hear a clicking sound. The other possibility is that the printer isn't reading the cartridge. A restart can help the problem.
