The ink is great. Xl last pretty long for my needs. If only Staples had both cartridges as XL and not only the black as.XL and Color as standard cartridges on theirn2 packs

I thought that this ink was supposed to last longer. I bought a black ink cartridge in December. I thought it would last at least 6 months. It lasted 2and 1/2 months. When I went to staples to purchase another black cartridge there were only 2 left and you had to purchase a color cartridge with it. There were no single or double black cartridges to buy only a combo package. The price is unbelievably expensive!!!!
