Honestly, when i ran off my first three copies it was stating ink dried. Got a little nervous, but after a couple of copies seems okay. Watching that it does not dry up quickly.

Sometimes display says not legitimate HP cartridge

Alignment uses too much ink. Cartridge occasionally comes up as not a legitimate HP cartridge.

I am sorry that the display is showing an error message sometimes. I hope you find that it works well for you otherwise!
If the printer and the cartridge do not have a good connection, you will occasionally get an error. You can take the cartridge out and make sure that the copper contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer are clear of any tape residue or fingerprints (wipe with lint-free material, if they seem to need it).
Then, you can reinsert it, being careful to make sure it is firmly seated in its slot. If that doesn't help, you can do a power reset (unplug while it is turned on, wait a bit and then plug back in).
