Great ink but as with Black 61 cost twice as much as it is an older number so I guess you think I need a new printer. I don't and hopefully I can find ink for my printer somewhere cheaper as this is a horrible way to treat your steady patrons. If I have to buy a new printer because your ink prices are too high it will not be an HP and then go through this again. My printer still works like new!! Bad business on your part!!

I purchased the color cartridge to print some recent pictures I took, rather than to take them to a store to print. Well the expensive cartridge only did about 30 pics and ran out of color. Ended up going to a store to have them printed. A total waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
I am sorry that your cartridge didn't print as much as you thought it should. Pictures do run a cartridge out sooner than normal printing does, especially when you are using a standard tricolor cartridge.
High-density prints (like images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the surrounding air is dry.
If you do a lot of high-density printing, you might want to consider using the XL cartridges, or perhaps Instant Ink where you pay by the page rather than for the cartridges.

Ho61 xl ink cartridge black has a lot more ink then regular cartridge. I bought a bundle so saved some $. But I mean HP 61 ink is quite pricey!
