Bought this in July 2025. Have generally been happy with the coffee it makes - at least until recently. Has started to exhibit odd behavior, such as coffee being ground without making pucks (hence, no coffee made, just wasted beans), extra loud and explosive steam noises, and so on. Has been regularly cleaned, and multiple descalings on the same day eventually helped. Relatively poorly detailed assistance from manual, but fortunately found online resources. Expensive cleaning products. I like this unit overall, but am disappointed in the above given the very high price.

After an extensive search of espresso machines to replace my 8 year old Phillilps I landed on the KF7. So far I am really happy with the decision. The machine provides excellent espresso and I cannot wait to try the other drinks it products

Great coffee maker. Lots of flexibility. Takes a few cups to get everything dialed in but after that, it's awesome. You can adjust the amount of milk and coffee in each selection and even double the selection if you want to make multiple coffees at once. Also super quiet, even the grinder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an excellent Gaggia Titanium that finally gave up the ghost after 20 years of faithful service with the KitchenAid KF7 Espresso Machine. This machine is AMAZING! So very quiet, large bean hopper and water reservoir and the variety of drinks available, thanks to the milk container attachment, is a welcome change. After 2 months of daily use, I am deeply in love with my new super automatic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving our KF8! It is so simple to use and maintain. I was concerned about the cleaning and maintenance process. We keep a nice white ceramic container under the spout and a quarter of a paper towel in the grounds container and it really minimizes the cleaning. I am very happy with the appearance of the machine, the quality of the coffee, the variety of drinks, the milk set up, and the ease of cleaning. It’s nice because it satisfies both of our coffee tastes, Americano and latte. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a Delonghi Eletta Explore in one house and bought the KF7 for a new house. I am quite happy with the KF7 which makes excellent coffee and cappuccino (haven't tried many others yet). I like the larger water reservoir that the KF7 has although it goes through water quickly with all the rinsing that it does. Mildly inconvenient that you have to empty the drip tray before rinsing after making a milk drink even when there is little water and only one or two pucks.
