Cmc7,
We’re sorry for the confusion – the feature you’re seeing is called Now Brief. It uses motion detection or voice commands to show useful info like the weather and connected device status when the TV screen is off. To turn it off, press the 123/Quick Settings button on your remote, go to Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Daily Board, then switch off any enabled options.
If you’d like further help with Daily Board, please reach out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. You can also visit ‘Support’ on our website for: • Live Chat • Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info ~ Samsung Specialist
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Better color, contrast, clarity! Very vibrant! Ai is really responsive! The glare is not noticeable if there is any! The colors are very beautiful and the brightness is perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV with update software/firmware. Great to watch sporting events and film productions. Glad I purchased the TV!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely disappointed with the color accuracy of my new Samsung TV. Despite my high expectations, the colors in "Normal" or "Native" mode are severely oversaturated; specifically, greens appear as a neon turquoise. While setting the color space to "Auto" offers an improvement, it results in a picture quality that looks identical to my two-year-old, significantly cheaper OLED TV.

Jskinvest,
We appreciate your input on the picture quality of Samsung’s R85H TV. You may have already explored some settings, but I wanted to offer the following in case they haven’t been tried yet:
First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Top directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
Then, select a Picture Mode that best fits your environment: Home > Home > top directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode 1. Standard – Default mode for general viewing 2. Dynamic – Brighter and clearer in well-lit rooms 3. Eco – Optimized for energy saving 4. Movie – Best for watching in dark environments 5. Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content exactly as intended by creators
You can also enhance your experience by enabling AI Mode, which automatically adjusts picture and sound based on your surroundings and usage patterns: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > AI Mode Settings > AI Mode
If these adjustments don’t improve your picture quality, feel free to contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also LiveChat with an agent or find helpful guides by visiting the ‘Support’ section of our website.
