This TV is simply amazing, I’m not a fan of reruns, but I have found myself watching movies from the past because the experience Of seeing movies in a whole different light is amazing. The colors are perfect. There is so much more to see on the big screen things you miss on a smaller set get one and you’ll understand

Thanks for reaching out about the intermittent black screen issue. If you're not using any external devices and the TV randomly cuts to black, it’s usually related to settings, signal, or internal software. Here are a few steps to help narrow it down and get things stable again.

1. Start with Power & Source Checks:
• Confirm the source: Even without external devices, it's worth confirming the TV is on the correct internal source (like TV/Live TV or a streaming app). Go to: Home > Left directional key > Connected Devices > Sources
• Power cycle the TV: Unplug the TV from the power outlet for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in. This can help reset any temporary glitches.
• Check the power outlet: If you're using a power strip or surge protector, try plugging the TV directly into the wall to rule out inconsistent power delivery.

2. Update Your TV Software: Software updates often resolve bugs that can cause screen flickers or blackouts
• Make sure the TV has the latest firmware version installed: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update

3. Run Built-In Diagnostics
• Perform a Picture Test: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. This helps determine if the issue is hardware- or software-related.
• Run the HDMI Test (optional): Even without HDMI devices connected, this can help verify that internal ports are functioning properly: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > HDMI Test

Great for gaming

This is a great tv. The mini led technology really makes a huge difference from the traditional lcd tvs. This has been great for gaming. Most other tvs have bad blur or lag when turning around while playing a game This tc has zero issues and tge cloorls really pop. The contrast is great too. No more washed out Grey's or black.

I've purchased several Samsung tv's over the years and this has got to be one of the best. The picture quality is wonderful. Clear and bright, with very vivid color. There are no dark shadows or spots, just a great clear visual on every channel. I am super happy with tis Samsung model.

Appropriate given the cost margin

Good Budget-friendly TV, big enough to enjoy some 4K content, and does bring me, a multi-samsung device buyer, coming back for more (i.e. upgrade). Obviously every price margin has its up bur also its downs. The lower RAM/Memory does make for a big of a laggy experience, but de-bloating the TV, such as removing extra software/apps that I do not use, seems to help. I just got this today, and will probably keep it. When more income or possibilities (cough* promotion cough*cough*) come along, I will consider getting an OLED instead. For now, this will do!
