[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a very sharp picture. I HATE that you cannot control the volume to keep the level of output uniform as you transfer from show to commercial. I spend most of my tv time adjusting the volume - not happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Top directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Top directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include:
• Standard – Ideal for general viewing
• Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces
• Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency
• Movie – Best for viewing in low light
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content
You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more.
Based on what you shared regarding the volume, this is likely due to a setting you may have accidentally enabled.
Here are a few steps that may help resolve the issue:
1. Turn off the Sound Sensor: Use the button located beneath the Samsung logo on the bottom of the TV. With the TV powered on, press the button to the left to turn the sensor on or to the right to turn it off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great TV. Picture quality is great. Glare is minimal. Love how brightness adjusts with light in the room. You have to be super careful unpacking it though. It’s very thin. Love how our Samsung products connect to the TV. It’ll tell you on the screen when dryer is finished or oven etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is generally very good and the glare protection is an improvement. The problems are in adjustability. You can't adjust the picture size when you have a movie or an older show that wants to shrink the picture down with large black margins. You can't adjust the sound in any way that really helps. Reminds me of how some new cars include nice features but have a control system that is either impossible to figure out or just doesn't work.

To start, black bars may appear depending on the original format of the content you’re viewing:
• Black bars on the sides are common when HD channels display upscaled SD (4:3) content
• Black bars on the top and bottom occur when watching films shot in wider aspect ratios than your TV supports
You can change the aspect ratio of displayed content manually for the purpose of the example you shared, but we wish to note that doing so in a manner that's not original to how the content was formatted, could affect image quality and viewing experience.
To adjust how content is displayed, you can try changing the picture size settings on your external device or on the TV itself: Home > top directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Size
To improve your sound, if you haven't already done so, try different Sound Modes (Standard, Optimized, Amplify), or fine-tune your setup in Expert Settings under: Settings > All Settings > Sound
Samsung Q- and S-Series Soundbars with Q-Symphony can also pair with your TV for enhanced audio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely happy with this TV. The picture quality is outstanding, especially with 4K and HDR content. Colors are vibrant without looking unnatural, blacks are deep, and the detail and clarity are impressive. Movies and shows that are filmed well look absolutely incredible.
I’ve also been impressed with the AI picture mode. I’ve gone back and forth between different settings depending on what I’m watching, and the TV does a great job improving most content without making everything look overly processed.
One thing this TV has actually shown me is just how much the quality of the source matters. Good 4K content looks phenomenal, while poorly filmed or heavily compressed shows are much easier to notice now. That’s not a fault of the TV—it’s because the screen is good enough to expose the difference.
Overall, this has been a fantastic upgrade. Great brightness, excellent color, sharp detail, and an impressive picture with high-quality content. I would absolutely buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 77” Samsung S90H was a perfect upgrade over my 65” Samsung Q90T. I love the picture clarity, brightness and color volume. I’ve been wanting to try an OLED tv for years. Finally pulled the trigger and it has not disappointed. I have several windows in my living room and the glare reduction is perfect. I probably will upgrade all the TVs in my bedrooms with an OLED in the coming future.
