I like some of the new features like streaming games, connecting any controller. Mostly watch movies. Picture is Good my last tv was like 10 year old Sony still works. This one has a brighter screen. The only problem I have so far is streaming the meta quest 3 to it isn't working. It pulls up acts like it is then doesn't work. Great color / contrast, and the menus pull up with about 2 second delay. This is the only upgrade ive had in 10 years so it seems good in uniformity.

I’m really happy with this purchase. The picture is bright, vibrant, and very clear, with great detail even in darker scenes. Everything looks smooth and easy to watch, whether I’m streaming shows or watching sports. I also love the clean design—the black frame gives it a sleek look that blends nicely into the room. Overall, it feels like a premium TV at a great price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Appropriate given the cost margin

Good Budget-friendly TV, big enough to enjoy some 4K content, and does bring me, a multi-samsung device buyer, coming back for more (i.e. upgrade). Obviously every price margin has its up bur also its downs. The lower RAM/Memory does make for a big of a laggy experience, but de-bloating the TV, such as removing extra software/apps that I do not use, seems to help. I just got this today, and will probably keep it. When more income or possibilities (cough* promotion cough*cough*) come along, I will consider getting an OLED instead. For now, this will do!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best 55in TV There Is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Samsung 55” Class M70H Mini LED 4K for our family room a few weeks ago and have been really happy with it so far. The first thing that I noticed was how bright the picture is. We get a lot of daylight in the room, and the TV still looks great without having to close the blinds. viewing angle is also really good and you can stand anywhere in the room without odd colors. My kid streams shows on it constantly now that it's summer and I also have watched several games and movies without any complaints or gripes on picture quality.
Setup was straightforward and only took a few minutes. The Tizen menu is easy to navigate and we were able to jump right into streaming apps after an easy wi-fi connection setup. I was, as usual with wall-mounts, expecting to need a soundbar, but we don't with this set. Overall feels like a very premium TV. I also paired it with my SmartThings app and I can use that app to see my laundry, dishwasher, fridge and now TV! If you are looking for a 55in LED TV, please consider this model when shopping. Solid TV for our family usage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the setup was fairly easy and fairly clean the packaging was good however is a lot left to be desired with this TV. The remote that came with the TV is trash. it is incredibly unresponsive . when you press the directional circle one way or the other you may have to press up many times before actually does anything, or it'll skip whole bunch of selections jumping from one side of the screen to the other.
Samsung's home screen is incredibly clunky compared to other operating systems. There is no way to disable the autoplay (or everything I've tried so far isn't working) so shortly after starting the TV it automatically starts playing one of the previous programs. This is one reason why I'm now considering taking this back and getting a different TV.
You have to go through and sign up for all of the Samsung accounts in order to get fully logged in to this TV. I didn't realize when I purchased the TV that I would have to marry the company. The selection of apps that are available is very limited, and if you want to take cast from your phone there are a lot of tricks that you have to figure out. Maybe this TV is good for those who have already immersed themselves and Samsung products, but this television is definitely not intuitive enough for the average person just looking for a good TV that is easy to use.
The picture on the television seems fine, but that is about all that I like about it.

Hi CouchCowboy,
We appreciate your feedback regarding remote performance. If your M70HB TV is responding slowly or inconsistently to the remote, try the following steps:
1. Re-pair the remote – Stand within 1 foot of your TV and press Return and Play/Pause simultaneously for at least 5 seconds. A message should appear confirming it's connected. 2. Change the batteries 3. Update your TV’s firmware – Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 4. Run Device Care to clear memory and close background apps that may slow performance: Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 5. Ensure you are pointing the remote at the IR Sensor located below the Samsung logo on your TV.
Finally, we appreciate your sharing your concerns about having a Samsung Account. A Samsung Account is required to access Smart Hub, which powers the core smart features of your TV - including app access (like Netflix and YouTube), service updates, and content personalization.
Without signing in and accepting the Terms and Conditions, your TV will function in a basic mode - supporting external devices (such as HDMI and over-the-air antenna), but streaming apps and Smart Hub services will be unavailable.
We understand this requirement may not be ideal for all users, but it’s necessary for full access to Samsung’s smart features and connected services.
We hope these tips are helpful. If you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime.
