Hi Ginger,
Thank you for your feedback regarding the response time of your M70H TV.
For optimal performance, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware. You can check this by going to: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update
To further optimize performance, try running Device Care, which checks memory, clears unused cached data, and closes background apps: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
For assistance connecting to your sound bar, please reach Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

The best TV I've had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV is amazing! Even for a smaller end TV for my bedroom, the display is bright and crisp. It has amazing contrast that allows you to see everything in really stunning detail. The color and resolution makes movies and animated media alike look like you're right there in the set, and I find my TV to be pretty reliable in terms of longevity. Definitely recommend
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very frustrated by the fact that there is no microphone on the remote and that was not apparent until tv was purchased taken home and unpacked. Hard to use this type of remote to change channels without voice option.

Hi Frustrated,
Thank you for sharing your review. We are sorry for any confusion. Your TV Works With Alexa, meaning you’ll need to connect a standalone Alexa device such as an Echo speaker, to control compatible smart home devices and some experiences on your TV. Here are the steps:
1. Download both the Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings apps, if you don't already have them. Both are available for iOS or Android devices. 2. Make sure your Alexa device and TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. 3. Your TV must be enabled within the SmartThings app. If not, make sure you are signed in with your Samsung account on the TV: Settings > All Settings > Samsung Account 4. Log in to the SmartThings app with the same Samsung account. Tap Devices, and if your TV isn’t already shown, tap + to add it to the app. 5. In the Alexa app, enable the SmartThings skill and sign into your Samsung account. This will automatically connect your Samsung TV to Alexa and let you use voice commands to control your television.
If you need more help, we’re here. Give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also connect with a LiveChat agent through the Support link on our website.

Regret not doing more research

the setup was fairly easy and fairly clean the packaging was good however is a lot left to be desired with this TV. The remote that came with the TV is trash. it is incredibly unresponsive . when you press the directional circle one way or the other you may have to press up many times before actually does anything, or it'll skip whole bunch of selections jumping from one side of the screen to the other.
Samsung's home screen is incredibly clunky compared to other operating systems. There is no way to disable the autoplay (or everything I've tried so far isn't working) so shortly after starting the TV it automatically starts playing one of the previous programs. This is one reason why I'm now considering taking this back and getting a different TV.
You have to go through and sign up for all of the Samsung accounts in order to get fully logged in to this TV. I didn't realize when I purchased the TV that I would have to marry the company. The selection of apps that are available is very limited, and if you want to take cast from your phone there are a lot of tricks that you have to figure out. Maybe this TV is good for those who have already immersed themselves and Samsung products, but this television is definitely not intuitive enough for the average person just looking for a good TV that is easy to use.
The picture on the television seems fine, but that is about all that I like about it.

Hi CouchCowboy,
We appreciate your feedback regarding remote performance. If your M70HB TV is responding slowly or inconsistently to the remote, try the following steps:
1. Re-pair the remote – Stand within 1 foot of your TV and press Return and Play/Pause simultaneously for at least 5 seconds. A message should appear confirming it's connected. 2. Change the batteries 3. Update your TV’s firmware – Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 4. Run Device Care to clear memory and close background apps that may slow performance: Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 5. Ensure you are pointing the remote at the IR Sensor located below the Samsung logo on your TV.
Finally, we appreciate your sharing your concerns about having a Samsung Account. A Samsung Account is required to access Smart Hub, which powers the core smart features of your TV - including app access (like Netflix and YouTube), service updates, and content personalization.
Without signing in and accepting the Terms and Conditions, your TV will function in a basic mode - supporting external devices (such as HDMI and over-the-air antenna), but streaming apps and Smart Hub services will be unavailable.
We understand this requirement may not be ideal for all users, but it’s necessary for full access to Samsung’s smart features and connected services.
We hope these tips are helpful. If you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. Terrible TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We returned this tv after 4 days because it sucked. It would not connect to our cable even after numerous attempts over those four days. We did not like this tv at all and I hated that we had to set up a Samsung account in order to use half of the features in the tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Sunny,
We appreciate your feedback regarding your M70H TV’s performance. If you're experiencing freezing or lag in general response time, please try the following steps: 1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.
If you're still noticing performance snags after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also connect with a LiveChat agent via the ‘Support’ link on our website.
