Sound is better than anticipated
on June 8, 2026
Posted by: Tigerlilyvmj
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so pleased with this TV. The sound quality is much better than I had anticipated. Crisp and clear. The setup was by far the easiest I've ever had. It was plug and play right out of the box. The picture quality is superb. Even shows that were created before HD have crip resolution. I think we are going to purchase a sound bar to enhance the movies we watch.

Great Picture / Need to work on interface
on June 8, 2026

from Georgia, USA
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture color and clarity of several streaming services its definitively improved, clear bright resolution at some point but need to work on contrast and some transition between clear bright and dark screens. The downside is the interface, the menus, loading and moving through the TV itself, it seems slow compared to other Samsung TV I have from 6yrs ago. Not sure if this is a problem many other may notice or highlight but I think it deserves attention. Overall I do recommend this TV just need a few improvements on the Tizen platform.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Adam81,

We appreciate your feedback regarding your M70H TV’s performance. If you're experiencing freezing or lag in general response time, please try the following steps:
1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.

If you're still noticing performance snags after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also connect with a LiveChat agent via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Good picture quality! Annoying remote control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is very bright and clear which I like. My issue is the remote control. It doesn’t work well with my soundbar or Firestick. It’s not as well designed as previous Samsung remotes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure how or why these bright spot flares appeared on the top of the screen. Other than that , the picture is nice with the color, contrast, clarity and audio.

Hi Grunge,

We appreciate your feedback on the picture quality of Samsung’s M70H TV. If the image doesn’t quite match your preferences, there are several adjustments you can make to better suit your viewing environment and content type.

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Top directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include:
• Standard – Ideal for general viewing
• Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces
• Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency
• Movie – Best for viewing in low light
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content

You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more.

If you’d like help finding the best picture settings for your preferences, please don’t hesitate to contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Great tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now have 3 Samsung tv and it is very easy to set up because I'm in their system. Take a picture on the screen and click a few buttons. I might get a pad instead of using my phone and it will integrate with the system.

Hi Frustrated,

Thank you for sharing your review. We are sorry for any confusion. Your TV Works With Alexa, meaning you’ll need to connect a standalone Alexa device such as an Echo speaker, to control compatible smart home devices and some experiences on your TV. Here are the steps:

1. Download both the Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings apps, if you don't already have them. Both are available for iOS or Android devices.
2. Make sure your Alexa device and TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Your TV must be enabled within the SmartThings app. If not, make sure you are signed in with your Samsung account on the TV: Settings > All Settings > Samsung Account
4. Log in to the SmartThings app with the same Samsung account. Tap Devices, and if your TV isn’t already shown, tap + to add it to the app.
5. In the Alexa app, enable the SmartThings skill and sign into your Samsung account. This will automatically connect your Samsung TV to Alexa and let you use voice commands to control your television.

If you need more help, we’re here. Give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also connect with a LiveChat agent through the Support link on our website.
