Hi Disappointed,
Thank you for your review. With the right settings, your Amazon Fire Stick remote can be used to control basic TV functions like volume and power.
Here’s how to set it up: 1. Enable Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) on your Samsung TV: Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = ON. 2. Set up your Fire Stick remote: Press the Home button on the Fire Stick remote, then navigate to the Settings icon. Select Equipment Control. If “Manage Equipment” appears instead of “Add Equipment,” your TV is already detected and you can skip to Step 6. o Select Add Equipment > TV, then wait for detection. o Once your TV is detected, select Yes, then OK. 3. Adjust settings: You can update the brand to Samsung if needed, or adjust how the remote handles volume. 4. Your Fire Stick remote should now control your TV’s basic features like volume and power. 5. To add other devices like a soundbar or game console: Press the Home button > Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > Add Equipment, and follow the on-screen prompts.
Regarding low volume, to start, we recommend making sure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates can include improvements to sound performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update
If volume levels still seem too low, you can improve sound performance by adjusting a few key settings:
Sound Mode: Navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode • Standard: Balanced for everyday viewing • Optimized: Enhances effects and creates a more spacious sound • Amplify: Boosts mid and high tones, especially helpful if dialogue is difficult to hear
Auto Volume: This feature helps maintain consistent volume levels across content and input sources. Turn it on under: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On
You can also explore Expert Settings to fine-tune sound output with adjustments for Balance, Equalizer, and more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up the TV to the wall was very easy, but you do need two pair of hands to put the tv up on the wall mount due to the TV being a bit heavy and awkward to position. Setting up the channels and home screen was easy enough: just follow the instructions given. All together it took about 15 minutes to setup and enjoy.
This tv buffers more then any of my tv's. It's not compatible with other operating systems. I tried to return it but didn't have the box. I HATE THIS TV!!!! I liked my Hisense TV much better. I regret buying the Samsung TV.

Hi Desoto56,
We're sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the M70HB TV. Buffering during streaming is typically related to internet speed or signal strength. This can happen when your connection isn’t able to deliver data quickly enough for smooth playback.
We recommend the following steps to help improve streaming performance: 1. Use a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection, if available 2. Try a wired LAN connection for more stability 3. Reposition your router to minimize obstacles between it and the TV 4. Make sure your TV is running the latest firmware (Settings > Support > Software Update) 5. Run Device Care to optimize performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
Please know your TV is compatible with other operating systems such as a Roku TV Stick. If you have questions about compatibility or need help, please reach out to us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. I love my new Samsung TV. It is so clear and bright, plus it is easy to use. I was a little confused at first about having to create a login before I could use Netflix, etc., but once logged in, everything is working perfectly. The contrast is wonderful…I can see everything as if I were in the room with them, and every feature on their face. The colors are very bright!
I bought this TV mainly for one reason, ehich was to use SmartView to mirror the TV to a samsung tablet. My wife is legally blind and cannot see TV, but can somewhat by using a tablet held close. All the searches and literature I reviewed, included Samsung web sites, indicated this was possible, but apparently this functionality has been taken away. So, I am dissapointed in the purchase and would not have bought this TV had I known of this limitation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi 918dlb,
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any confusion regarding features available on the M70H TV. Please know the M70H TV features the ability to mirror from your Smart Device to the TV, but not from the TV to the Smart Device. This feature is available on the M80H TV Series and above.

It is a good Television. The addition of Applications is somewhat more difficult than the Vizio Television I have. They are both 55" Televisions so I am comparing Apples to Apples. I do not care for the remote it does not have numbers and looks cheap. I got what I paid for. It is a Television I will leave it at that.
