OLED makes a world of difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV looks great in my living room above my mantle. It's very thin and was easy to mount, once we got the right hardware. We also paired this with our Samsung Music Studio 7 Speaker. You can also utilize the Q-symphony feature to get a more immersive sound between the TV and speaker.
I love how vibrant and crisp the picture is. The colors are bright and more photorealistic. I can also see the TV much better because of the brightness and the anti-glare features of this TV. Watching TV when it's bright out or when we have the overhead lights on at night is no longer a problem.
The TV is also equipped with many apps, so there's no need to add on a streaming device. I find the software to be more user-friendly and smoother than older iterations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded my high end tv from 2016 to this gorgeous tv. Is had a high refresh rate, bright colors and fast response time. It does great with local dimming with very little light blooming on black backgrounds. I found the tv to have great speed with switching between apps and resuming content. It’s very thin and light weight. I would highly recommend getting this tv. Samsung knocks it out of the park again

OLED is a game changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been around 8 years since I updated my main living room TV. I had a 58-inch 4K TV from another brand, and I was content with it. But when I connected the Samsung OLED S85H for the first time and saw the dazzling display of colors, I felt someone had removed a filter of dullness from my eyes, and that now I was actually seeing what true colors were really like in my living room!
Now, this is not my first rodeo with OLED screens. My cellphone and PC monitor are both OLEDs. But there is a marked difference from watching an OLED screen of 7/24 inches, to one of 55! The setup went smoothly, since it was automatically detected by my Samsung phone. The smart functions of the TV have all of the streaming apps you need, and it even has XBOX Game Pass remote included, so if you have a good connection, you can actually play Game Pass games on this TV with just a controller. The TV detected my soundbar without issue, and the setup only took like 10 minutes.
The image quality of this TV is magnificent. The blacks are real blacks, not grey like my old TV. The colors pop with dazzling brightness and contrast, and the TV has different safeguards and functions to protect the OLED display from any burn-in. I connected my game console to the TV, and gaming here is a delight as well.
Overall, this TV showed me how much TV technology has advanced in the past few years. I now regret not getting a Samsung OLED TV sooner, since I could have been enjoying my media consumption exponentially more. But better late than never! This is the best TV I have ever owned, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

Major upgrade in every way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I unboxed the Samsung S85H OLED, the first thing that stood out was just how thin it really is. After getting the correct bolts to mount it to my existing setup (M8 machine screws, 1.25"), I was able to get everything installed without issue.
I paired the TV with my new Samsung Music Studio 7 speaker, and using the Q‑Symphony feature, the TV and speaker work together to deliver really impressive sound. It’s a noticeable step up and fills the room well.
One of the biggest improvements for me has been the lack of glare. In my living room, I usually deal with reflections from daylight and overhead LED lighting, but that’s no longer an issue.
Watching during the day or at night has been a much better experience overall.
The picture quality is outstanding. The image is extremely crisp, and blacks are truly pitch black without the light bleed you typically see on more basic HDTVs. I connected both an Apple TV and a Fire TV Stick, and everything looks fantastic on this display.
I also appreciate how seamlessly the TV integrates with the Samsung SmartThings app. Having additional control and getting notifications — like alerts from the washer or dryer — is a nice bonus that fits well into my existing setup.
I would highly recommend the OLED experience to anyone who hasn’t owned one yet, especially if you’re not impressed with your current TV’s performance or struggle with glare. This TV has been a major upgrade in every way that matters to me.
