I was a bit leery about having to learn the inner workings of a smart tv after 12 plus years of an old Samsung model, but I LOVE this new gadget. Continually discovering new things as I watch, and the color is remarkable. Now, if only I could figure out how to hook up my old dvd player to it.

I've got it in my living room, which has a full wall of windows, and even in bright sunshine the image is great. In fact, from a technical standpoint, I'm very pleased with the TV. I paired it with a Samsung soundbar and they work seamlessly together: major upgrade. I took a star off because I'm not into the Samsung ecosystem, so I had to figure out how to ignore a lot of Samsung bloat. It's my first "smart" TV, so maybe that's typical of the species.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a month of regular use with this unit, Samsung delivers reliable HD picture and performance in a variety of usage scenarios. I have noticed the picture is always sharp and clear, whether I'm streaming live sports, playing video games, or streaming YouTube from my phone while projecting to the TV. Sound quality is also reliably sharp and clear, whether I'm playing video games, watching TV, or even playing from physical media disc's from a peripheral DVD or BluRay device. The native Samsung menu and embedded software has also come a long way from what I experienced with earlier iterations of "smart" TV devices. The menu and interface is both more intuitive, and faster/performs better than any other TV I have owned in the last 15 years. Samsung continues to show with this model of TV why their devices remain extremely popular with individuals and families with a need for versatility and reliability in their home TV set, but without sacrificing performance, or having to pay an arm and a leg for it. I will happily recommend this Samsung TV to anyone looking for a great balance of performance and reliability in their TV set, at a reasonable price point.
Bonus points: Initial set-up couldn't have been easier. I went from TV boxed, to in use in less than 30 minutes! The set was light enough for me to lift and install on the hearth over my fireplace by myself, one person of average height and strength.

Really great features and quality. I really like the AI optimized screen that adapts to each program I'm watching... Nothing beats Cinemascope in Technicolor on this TV...

The TV is great it was shipped in a reasonable timing and if your a gamer like me this is great. You get great frames and I got best quality in my games out of box.
