Amazing health control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Oura Ring 5 for a while now, and I really like the updates. First of all, the new steel color looks amazing. It’s simple, stylish, and matches pretty much everything.
The ring itself feels much thinner and more comfortable than the previous version. The battery lasts a lot longer, and charging is noticeably faster, which is something I appreciate because I don’t have to think about it as often.
Tracking has improved too. Although it’s not always perfect — one day I was working, and the ring decided I was playing golf. That was pretty funny to see in my activity report!
The app feels cleaner and easier to use, and I like that there’s now an option to pay for a full year of membership instead of getting charged every month. It’s nice to pay once and not have to keep track of another subscription payment.

Good Hardware, Disappointing Subscription Requirement

My biggest complaint is the monthly membership fee. After already paying a premium price for the ring itself, many of the most valuable features and in-depth insights require an ongoing subscription. I feel that core functionality should be included with the purchase rather than locked behind an additional monthly charge.
