I am always on the look out for good new tech, I do underwater photography and video which often means traveling. I love thin and lights, and have been using an Asus ProArt P16 as my go to machine. I just picked up the A16 based on some of the early reviews, and can confirm, this thing rocks for a developer. I was able to crunch through 4k60 4:2:2 10bit video with no stuttering or issues in Davinci Resolve. Also tested out Capture One and Luminar Neo and they both performed as well as the P16. So far I am loving this thing, and can't wait to take it on a trip, between the laptop and power supply, cutting 3-4 pounds, or 1.5kg, from my luggage sounds great.

I was curious how it would work with python machine learning, since the CPU architecture is ARM, but it found compiled binaries for everything I needed: pip, matplotllib, scikit-learn, Music21, Miniforge, mamba, csound, sox, mp3 generation. Impressive ecosystem for ARM. First class citizen.
