So i tested the jbl go 5 before it was even out and i have to say that it does sound better than the go 4 by a big enough difference, i haven't tested the battery life yet but seems like its similar to the go 4. The go 5 really worth it

Air touch are the best pairin'

Bought today..hmm 2 of em just for airtouch functionality which made a perfect stereo OTG..I'd do it on Xtreme5 but let say Try this for start.

This Go 5 is really off THE CHAIN...! I have a Go 4 as well... I love 'em both! CSR personnel is also ALWAYS very helpful and informative...

Brilliant piece of kit, don't be fooled by the size. Packs a mighty punch with great battery life. I had the Go3 which was already a great piece of kit but this upgrade together with the app and the option to customize for your surroundings is a brilliant addition. Great when you don't have much space or don't want a big speaker using up space. Packs the punch of a far bigger speaker. Great for use in kitchen, gardens, walking, at the park, pool tennis courts or even on the bike it's so portable and durable. 10/10

Love the 2 red ones I purchsed of the to go 5 ( after just purchasing a pair of to go 4’s). However, for as big a company as you are,your operating instructions, or lack there off,suck. I had forgotten this issue when I purchased 2 Boom Boxes several years back. Whey can’t you make an easy, straightforward, online manual to follow? How hard can it be?

Compared to the Go 4 it is very much better. The strap is much more flexible and can fit in tighter places easier and having a low battery sound notification makes it easier to start charging it instead of it just dying when you are busy. If you have the app you can permanently change how the lights are and just be off when you are using it. It can still connect with the old Go 4 and it is as durably as well. For me it sounds a bit more clearer than the old one.

Got this as a surprise for my sister. She loved it and it’s in her favorite color. And I got myself one. These are great little Bluetooth speakers with a phenomenal sound and capability.

Amazing sound for a carry on speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL Go 5, I own many JBL speakers. Including the large ones, this JBL Go 5 is a small easy to carry.
Sound is very good, outside and inside, connected easily to my Pixel phone and JBL android app to manage the speaker is easy to set up.
For the one who likes lights in the speaker, u can set different lights from the app...
Bluetooth connection and you can also connect another same speaker as a group (I did not try it)
Charging it is a USB-C cable same as Android pixel phone, speaker came with no cable.
This is not a Google smart speaker as there is no wifi so you cannot ask it to play.
