Sound not good

The sound on my Samsung tv isn’t good. Normal tv watching is at 37. Netflix is 87. Other than that the price was great. The picture is nice. Setting the Tv up for senior citizens was easy.

Hi Donna,
Thank you for purchasing Samsung’s U8000H TV and for sharing your feedback regarding low volume. To start, we recommend making sure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates can include improvements to sound performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update
If volume levels still seem too low, you can improve sound performance by adjusting a few key settings:
Sound Mode: Navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode • Standard: Balanced for everyday viewing • Optimized: Enhances effects and creates a more spacious sound • Amplify: Boosts mid and high tones, especially helpful if dialogue is difficult to hear
Auto Volume: This feature helps maintain consistent volume levels across content and input sources. Turn it on under: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On
You can also explore Expert Settings to fine-tune sound output with adjustments for Balance, Equalizer, and more.
For personalized support with these settings or selecting a soundbar to complement your setup, contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun) or use LiveChat via the ‘Support’ link on our website.
This Samsung TV delivers an exceptional viewing experience with great picture quality and crisp, vibrant display. The built-in Samsung smart system and Samsung plus makes finding things to watch fast and seamless.
The TV is fine; however, the remote for people 80 yrs and older it is very difficult to navigate and understand how to get just your regular stations.... Very, very frustrating and I'm sure you hear this alot, but no one seems to be paying us any attention.
I have purchased 5 of these TVs in the last few months and they have never let me down. The brightness, contrast, responsiveness and upscaling are unmatched. Also the uniformity of each TV is awesome! Hands down the best TVs I have ever purchased and my go-to when recommended TVs to other people.
I especially love this TV because all of the features are top-tier and the fact that I don't have to pay for any kind of like Cable Is so cool and then it also has a gaming feature that all you need is a controller and you can play games from here as long as you have Wi-Fi I think that is tops here as well And lastly the quality of the picture and just whether it's me playing games or me watching movies There's a setting for both and it's easy to navigate through it's easy to learn how to use Pretty much I'm so glad I made this purchase
The volume on my television has a reverberation whenever it is on 16 or above!!! Which is NOT a very loud volume!!! It usually occurs during laughter, crying, a loud bang something like that which happens all the time!! I have adjusted the volume as much as I am able and nothing helps! Is there anything else YOU CAN HELP ME WITH? PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Hi Crell056,
Thanks for sharing your experience with your U8000H TV. Unusual sounds can come from different sources, so first check whether it’s from the TV speakers, an external device (like a soundbar), or the back of the TV. • For external audio, ensure cables are connected to the correct output • If using antenna or cable, check signal strength: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal • Popping sounds from the back may be due to thermal expansion - this is normal and not a malfunction • Run a Sound Test to troubleshoot: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test
If the issue continues, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat and additional support resources are also available through the Support link on our website.
